@AllenWest “Need I mention the ensuing lies? Where was the obligation to act in response to Benghazi?”

Allen West Benghazi - Syria

by Allen West via Facebook

Consider the irony as we draw close to the one-year anniversary of the Benghazi attack. President Obama says the use of chemical weapons in Syria threatens our national security and we have an obligation to act. In contrast, our US Consulate (sovereign American territory) was attacked in Benghazi, our Ambassador was killed along with Sean Smith and two former Navy SEALS (Ty Woods and Glenn Doherty) and the only indignation shown was over a video. Need I mention the ensuing lies? But where was the obligation to act in response to Benghazi? The events in Syria are horrific to be sure, but to dismiss the attack and loss of American lives in Benghazi is unconscionable.

Gotta keep their story alive±:

The Battling Boys of Benghazi

We’re the Battling Boys of Benghazi,
no fame, no glory, no paparazzi.
Just a fiery death in a blazing hell
defending the country we loved so well.
It wasn’t our job, but we answered the call,
fought to the consulate and scaled the wall.
We pulled twenty countrymen from the jaws of fate,
led them to safety and stood at the gate.
Just the two of us, and foes by the score,
but we stood fast to bar the door.
Three calls for reinforcement, but all were denied,
so we fought and we fought and we fought till we died.
We gave our all for our Uncle Sam
but Barack Obama didn’t give a damn
just two dead SEALs who carried the load
no thanks to us – we were just “bumps in the road.”

Allen West “We must remember”

FALLEN20SOLDIER1

We must remember.

The heroism…
The valor…
The courage..

We must remember the brave men and women who have worn the uniform of the United States Military to defend the liberties each of us enjoys. Not just today, on Memorial Day, but every day.

As a veteran who saw too many of my comrades make the ultimate sacrifice, I could go on and on talking about the significance of today, what it means to serve this great nation, and why I’m so proud to be an American. But I know you probably have plans, so I’d like to leave you with a verse from the Bible that I believe sums up today perfectly.

“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Isaiah 6:8

We are the land of the free, because we have always been the home of the brave. Let us never forget.

God bless America,

Ladies and gentlemen, we have a very big problem in Washington DC handling the truth. In August 2011, just months after the killing of Osama Bin Laden, a CH-47 helicopter loaded with America’s most elite warriors, US Navy SEALS, was shot down in Afghanistan. Today the parents of several of those fallen warriors will speak out about the mission and the failures which they believe led to the deaths of their sons. The group will include former constituents and friends of mine, Karen and Billy Vaughn, who lost their Son Petty Officer Aaron Vaughn in the incident. The press conference will be streamed live on www.trentovision.tv starting at 9:30am EST. I will be there and ask you all to tune in and hear the truth from the parents of our warriors.

Chris Kyle: The Last Thing They Never Saw – The National Patriot

By Craig Andresen on February 6, 2013 for The National Patriot

Over The weekend, America lost a hero.

By now, his death is being cheered by our enemies and already, it has been disgraced by Ron Paul WHO TWEETED: “Chris Kyle’s death seems to confirm that ‘he who lives by the sword dies by the sword.’ Treating PTSD at a firing range doesn’t make sense.”

Navy Seal Chris Kyle was murdered by a former marine. Shot in the back at a gun range.

Ron Paul should be ashamed of himself.

Chris Kyle was the greatest sniper who ever lived and served 4 tours of duty. That is enough to make him a hero but, it simply wasn’t enough for Chris Kyle.

When asked if he had any regrets regarding his service and his activities as a sniper, Chris answered, point blank…Yes.

He said it wasn’t those he dispatched who haunted him but those Americans, Iraqi’s and other allies he was unable to save.

Chris Kyle recorded 160 kills and some, from as far distant as 21 football fields away.

That is 160 insurgents and terrorists who never again killed an American or an Iraqi who either had or was suspected OF aiding Americans.

Let’s not pretend we knew Chris Kyle. Outside his family, his wife, children parents only a handful of others really knew him.

His SEAL family may have known Chris Kyle better than anyone and because of who he was, what he did and where he was stationed, WE only got to know him because he wrote a book.

Sometimes though, that’s enough to know what sort of man he was.

He loved this country and Chris Kyle loved those who served this country.

Chris, we’re told, stepped up. He dedicated himself to serving those who served…us. When they came home and things weren’t right…They couldn’t sleep, didn’t feel they fit in anymore or suffered flashbacks from what they had seen, Chris Kyle helped them. He took them to familiar settings, places they felt comfortable, and engaged them in an activity they understood.

Chris Kyle took them to gun ranges.

There, they were in an environment they could grasp and with those who shared a passion and common experiences.

Kyle wasn’t alone with Eddie Ray Routh last Saturday at that Texas shooting range, His pal, Chad Littlefield was there too.

Routh, we’re told, may have suffered PTSD but, reports of that have been challenged. Whatever the reason, the 3 men were there and somehow, Eddie Ray Routh shot both Littlefield and Kyle in the back, killing them both.

Clearly Routh was troubled.

He had threatened suicide, threatened to kill his family and had been taken for mental treatment  twice…All over the last 4 months.

We may never know what set Routh off last Saturday but we now know that, he took Chris Kyle’s Ford pickup and drove to his sister’s home about 30 miles south of Fort Worth. When his sister asked whose truck he was driving, Routh told her, “I traded my soul for a new truck,” and then told her what he had done.
