The Black Sphere: Black Killings by Democrats, Then and Now.

They say that the Republican Party is made up of the racist Southern Democrats, known as Dixiecrats who hated black people, and who were responsible for the 3,446 deaths by the Klan in 86 years.

Allen West “Election night wrap-up: what next for the GOP?”

Well, the results are in and so it’s time for a little assessment.

Let’s start with New York. Good luck, you just voted in a Marxist/socialist, and you thought David Dinkins was bad? I know there are some very eclectic folks in New York City but what were the free market capitalists thinking?

Next door in New Jersey, everyone pretty much saw this woodshed coming for Governor Christie.

Allen West Discusses “What are the priorities of the federal government?” with Brian Kilmeade

AWHannity

LT. COL. ALLEN WEST weighed in on the government shut down.  West said that this is a great time to start looking at what is essential in the government.  “What are the priorities of the federal government?” West asked.  He went on to state that 6.6 percent of the EPA was deemed essential, which is a little over 1,000 of the 16,000 people. “This is a great time for us to start looking and saying ‘What can we do to trim back the government?’”

Rep Allen West pushed back on Monday against President Obama’s comments on Waterboarding

Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) pushed back on Monday against President Barack Obama’s comments this weekend condemning waterboarding, even referencing the movie “G.I. Jane” in which the character played by actress Demi Moore is subjected to the interrogation tactic.

“The president is the benefactor of a lot of information that came from waterboarding,” West said on Fox News. “When you look at the precedent, non-state, non-uniform belligerents captured on the battlefield under the Geneva Convention are not afforded the same type of rights. We can make that determination.”

“As the president, you need to do those things which are necessary to make sure that the American people are kept safe,” the Republican congressman continued, adding, “and furthermore, in the movie ‘G.I. Jane,’ Demi Moore was waterboarded.”

During his stay in Hawaii this weekend, Obama called the interrogation technique “torture.”

But West insisted that it is the responsibility of a military commander to protect the men and women in uniform through whatever means necessary, as the congressman said he himself did when he fired a pistol over the head of an Iraqi detainee in 2003.

“I used a psychological intimidation tactic to fire a pistol over his head, and it kept my men safe,” West said. “Of course, they took it to an investigative hearing but I’m here today as a congressional representative and I still continue to fight for the men and women in uniform.”

Newt Gingrich defends Herman Cain, calls allegations ‘gossip’ – The Hill

by Alicia M. Cohn via The Hill

Newt Gingrich on Wednesday defended Herman Cain against allegations of past sexual harassment, dismissing charges as “gossip.”

“Here’s a situation where we’ve got a guy who’s the front runner for the Republican nomination, has a serious proposal on tax policy: 999, whether you like or dislike it, it is a serious big idea,” Gingrich told Atlanta’s WBS TV, according to ABC News. “He’s out there trying to help a country that’s in desperate trouble, and he has gotten more coverage over the last few days over gossip.”

Although they are competitors for the GOP presidential nomination, Gingrich called Cain a friend.

“Wall of Boots” by MTZ – “Build the fence” on Stacy Swimp’s Contagious Transformation

By MTZ

As the GOP hopefuls make their rounds, the issue of border security has quickly become a focal point.  The entire GOP field has responded to this matter with a unified voice of “Build the fence” as a way of appeasing conservatives with the issue while never truly understanding the logistics and consequences to building a fence on the Texas border that encompasses 2/3 of the US/MX border.  How often have the candidates said it is the only rational way to provide security on our southern borders, I would venture to say too many times to count.  While I agree our nation’s borders and points of entry must be secured, building a fence will not accomplish the task and serve to lull Americans with a false sense of security and violate US/MX treaty(s) while harming agriculture and remove the only water source for US cities along the Rio Grande.

Some have argued that the Department of Homeland (DHS) security has great authority and can bypass most if not all of the laws that impede the completion of the border fence. To those who hold this idea, pardon my frankness, you are part of the appeased masses that have failed to comprehend the issue in its entirety and have had the candidates pander to that lack of knowledge.  As conservatives, we should pride ourselves in understanding what the issues are and what laws govern them so we may address and resolve them.

DHS does not and will never have greater authority than treaties entered into by the US and a foreign nation.  Due to the complexity of this issue, I am providing links to all treaties, laws, regulations, and Executive Orders that pertain to the subject matter for your review and verification.
