Allen West Guardian PAC Endorsed Candidates Need Your Support @dbongino @miablove @RepTomCotton

Forty years ago, 72% of House lawmakers and 78% of those in the Senate had served in the armed forces. Veteran representation on Capitol Hill has been steadily declining since the early 1970s, largely a result of the World War II generation steadily leaving public office. But those who have served in the military have a better understanding and a deeper comprehension of issues involving national security, armed services and veteran issues –issues no less important now than they were 40 years ago.

Colonel West was one of only four black Republicans to serve in the United States House of Representatives in nearly a century. In the Senate, there have been only two. As the demographics of the U.S. population shift, it becomes ever more critical to increase representation by not only black, but Hispanic and Asian American leaders as well.

The leadership PAC Colonel West established during the 2012 election cycle with the same mission helped 7 military veteran candidates win their seats in the House of Representatives.

We must ensure conservative leaders are elected who will stand as guardians of our constitutional republic, to restore our nation’s fiscal responsibility and strong national defense, limit the growth of government, unleash the free market and preserve the liberty and sovereignty of its citizens.

It’s starting to feel a lot like election season.

We’re officially within one year of the 2014 midterm elections, but the way the Left has launched a war against conservatives, you’d think the elections were being held tomorrow!

Our endorsed candidates – Dan Bongino, Tom Cotton, and Mia Love – are facing some particularly harsh attacks, validating why the Guardian Fund endorsed them. They’re great conservative leaders who will play a major role in crafting the policy and value set of America’s future.

In Maryland,  Dan Bongino is being accused of “hijacking the Secret Service brand” in an attempt to “draw attention to himself.” The truth is the things Dan saw and heard while protecting President Obama – like the deals made behind closed doors to pass Obamacare – inspired him to run. But of course Obama’s liberal allies don’t want you to know that.

In Arkansas,Tom Cotton is being accused of violating campaign finance laws by illegally soliciting contributions during a radio interview with Hugh Hewitt. The truth is this allegation was proved wrong weeks ago but the liberal media, who of course support Tom’s opponent, love the headline an ethics probe makes.

And in Utah, Mia Love is being accused of spending too much of the money her campaign has raised. The truth is Mia’s campaign learned the hard way in 2010 that you have to have a strong infrastructure to win tough races, so they’re investing in their ground game early – but that makes a really boring story.

The Guardian Fund is preparing to fight back. Will you help us build up our arsenal by donating $25, $50, $100, or more today?

Our goal is to raise $250,000 online between now and December 31 to ensure the Guardian Fund is fully armed come 2014. Thank you in advance for your support.

Allen West “Going in behind enemy lines”

os-orlando-sentinel-todays-buzz-allen-west-for-001

Last week Bill O’Reilly asked me if I would be interested in leading the Tea Party. I certainly don’t believe one needs to be officially “anointed” to be recognized as a leader and voice for conservative principles. But I will gladly take that message from coast to coast.

Today I will hit the airways and travel to Utah and the Chicago area. It will be my first time ever in the state of Utah and I will be there to support a fantastic young conservative Congressional candidate, Mayor Mia Love. Mayor Love truly represents the future for the Republican party, and for our resurgent conservative movement. Hers is a story of American exceptionalism and the opportunity society for which so many have fallen for in our Republic.

Of course being a black conservative means she has the ire of the progressive socialists. If you are in the Salt Lake City area, come out to the Salt Lake Community College campus and spend some time with Mayor Love and myself.

I will then travel over to the Chicago area, yep, going in behind enemy lines, to speak Thursday evening at an event sponsored by the Young America’s Foundation and the Northwestern University College Republicans. The event will be held at Harris Hall and the topic will be “Should the U.S. use military action to spread freedom?” The event is open to the public so please come on out. National Military Strategy relating to our national security objectives is vital and it’s an issue that doesn’t get enough attention.

Finally, I pray everyone enjoyed a very memorable and special Veterans Day. Mine certainly was. I am so very humbled to have announced on Veterans Day the first book I have ever written, Guardian of the Republic: An American Ronin’s Journey to Faith, Family and FreedomYou can pre-order a copy here.

Guardian

The title truly symbolizes the purpose for all of us who have donned the military uniform of the United States of America. Next year, I look forward to touring and signing many copies for my fellow countrymen and patriots.

You’ve probably never heard of her before, but you will soon…because Mayor Mia Love is about to become a household name.

Last summer she gave one of the most heart-felt and inspiring speeches I’ve heard at the Republican Convention and gave liberal Congressman Jim Matheson the fight of his political life in Utah’s 4th Congressional district. She lost by less than 800 votes, but fortunately for us, she’s up for a rematch.

Since announcing her candidacy in May, Mia has put Matheson and the liberal left on notice. She’s in the district every day meeting voters, participating in events, and holding Matheson accountable for voting in lockstep with Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi. But Pelosi’s radical fundraising machine is preparing to launch an all-out assault against her.

Will you stand with me today to build the arsenal the Guardian Fund will use to fight back on behalf of candidates like Mia Love? Please follow this link to donate $25, $50, $100, or more today.

Mia Love is the quintessential Guardian Fund candidate. The daughter of Haitian immigrants, Mia knows what it takes to work hard and make ends meet—and she’s living proof the American Dream still exists.

Despite coming to the United States with just a few dollars to their name, Mia’s parents never took a free handout and instilled this principle in their daughter. Today Mia is an unwavering advocate for limited government, fiscal sanity, and personal responsibility—three things desperately missing in Washington.

We need steadfast conservatives, like Mia, fighting for us in Washington and that’s why I created the Guardian Fund. Please stand with me and make sure Mia and others like her win next November by donating $25, $50, $100, or more today.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Allen West Guardian Fund Endorses @dbongino @love4utah @RepTomCotton @JacksonForLG

Friday, September 13, 2013 – Political Potpourri by Jacquie Kubin

WASHINGTON, September 13, 2013 – While he no longer holds elected office, Colonel Allen West’s impact on the national political scene continues to grow.

The Allen West Guardian Fund is announcing its first endorsements for the 2014 election cycle, including Congressman Tom Cotton, Arkansas Senate; Mia Love, Utah – 4, who was also endorsed in 2012; Dan Bongino, MD – 6; and E.W. Jackson, the GOP Nominee for Lt. Governor, Virginia.

The fund plans to endorse a total of 14 persons, leaving ten more endorsements to be announced.

“Here at home, those who can benefit most from conservative policies – namely minorities – are under-represented in leadership,” Col. West says from his Florida office. “As the demographics of this nation change, we must ensure conservative minority voices are not sidelined or silenced.”

As a nation we are experiencing a significant divide as we watch the economic, political and foreign policies of the Obama administration reaching conclusions.

“Elections have consequences – and we’re certainly seeing the effects of some serial bad decisions in this country,” Col. West says. “The 2014 elections represent an opportunity for Americans to self-correct. The question I hope voters will ask themselves is, do we really want to continue on this path? With the workforce participation rate at an all-time low, persistent double-digit unemployment in the black community and increasing threats abroad, I can’t believe there are many folks who think we’d be better off with more of the same.”

The ability to control the decisions made in Washington lies with the voters, only it requires informed and engaged voters.

“We’ve got to elect principled leaders who will protect and preserve our liberties and our nation,” Col. West says.

The Allen West Guardian Fund’s mission is to support minority and veteran conservative candidates; candidates reflecting the mores of Colonel West.

Obviously America agrees with Colonel West as the group has raised nearly $1.9 million so far in 2013. The Federal limit for direct contributions is $5,000.00 for primary plus $5,000.00 making the maximum endorsement for any candidate $10,000.00.

The leadership PAC Colonel West established during the 2012 election cycle endorsed 13 candidates, 11 of which have prior military service.

“When you see what’s happening in this world, and the dangerous and frankly, deadly results of poor strategic military decisions from our elected leaders, it’s quite obvious we need more people with military experience in Washington,” Col. West says. “Forty years ago over 70% of the House and Senate had served in uniform. That figure is under 20% now, and only 16 members of the House have served since Sept. 11, 2001.  Is it any wonder our enemies and allies alike are doubting our resolve?”

2013 Endorsement recipients will be honored at a Capitol Hill Club breakfast event on Thursday, October 10.  Colonel Allen West and Lt. General William G. “Jerry” Boykin will be attending, and speaking at this event.

Allen West Guardian Fund: Helping to elect hard charging Minority and Veteran conservatives to Congress

westpac-logo

Dear Friends and Patriots

From the time I took an oath to support and defend our constitution as a young Second Lieutenant in the United States Army, I have committed my life to our nation and its constitutional principles. I feel a duty and an honor to encourage others to follow a similar path.

That’s why we’ve launched the Allen West Guardian Fund.

The Guardian Fund’s sole mission is to build an army of activists to help elect 12 new hard-charging conservatives to the United State Congress — conservatives who are either among the minority and/or veteran communities. This new generation of conservative leaders will stand as guardians of our constitutional republic.

But to successfully complete this mission, we must raise $5 million over the next 20 months!

The Guardian Fund will face its first test in just a few days. March 31st marks our first Federal Election Commission fundraising deadline and our goal is to report $250,000 raised in our first two weeks.

Can I count on your immediate donation to help us reach this goal?

Please follow this link to donate $25, $50, $100 or more to the Guardian Fund today.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be launching our full-scale battle plan for candidate recruitment and messaging. In the past, we’ve endorsed candidates like Captain Tom Cotton (U.S. Army, Arkansas 4th Congressional District), Lieutenant Commander James Bridenstine (U.S. Navy, Oklahoma 1st Congressional District), Mia Love and Vernon Parker. As we set our sights on 2014, we look forward to canvassing the country for the next bright stars of the conservative movement.

With your continued support, the Guardian Fund will help get 12 more outstanding constitutional conservatives elected to Congress. So can we count on your immediate donation of $25, $50, $100 or more to reach our March 31 goal?

Thank you in advance for your support.

Steadfast and loyal,
Allen West

U.S. Congressman (2011-2013)

P.S. Our initial FEC report is a critical step in establishing the Allen West Guardian Fund as the premiere conservative political action committee. A strong showing for the first quarter will prove to the left and the Republican establishment that we love America too much to sit back and watch them destroy her with radical policies and reckless political gridlock. So can we count on you to help the Guardian Fund raise $250,000 by March 31? Please follow this link right away to donate $25, $50, $100 or more.

NRCC Releases New Video “This Is Our Moment” with Allen West, Mitt Romney and Mia Love

Published on Nov 1, 2012

http://www.nrcc.org/election | For generations, we’ve understood that with a little hard work, nothing was beyond our grasp. It’s time we had a government that worked with us, and not against us. The “This is Our America” campaign shares stories from candidates and regular Americans around the country who are fired up about the 2012 election and have faith that America is bigger than it’s challenges.

We are the National Republican Congressional Committee, and our mission is to make sure Congress spends and taxes less, so the economy can get back on track.

TRANSCRIPT:

Rep. Mike Kelly: I really think this election is not just for control of our government. It’s for the heart and soul of this country. And if we lose this now, we’ll never, ever regain it. It’ll be gone forever.

Mia Love: For the first time, parents don’t believe their children are going to have the same opportunities they’ve had. We are not better off than we were four years ago.

Rep. Allen West: When I think about what kind of America I leave for my children and my grandchildren, I can’t saddle them with this debt. I can’t saddle them with a dependency society.

Sean Hintze: We have to tighten our belts. I think that Washington has to do the same thing.

Rep. Stephen Fincher: We’re about individual freedom, we’re about communities helping and taking care of one another. We want to grow the middle class. Give every opportunity to people to be whatever they want to be.

Beverly Middaugh: I only ask for two things. Freedom and opportunity. Freedom and opportunity. With that, we can do worlds.

Susan Brooks: I think that this election, is one of two paths. Do we want more government intervention in our lives, or do we want less?

Fincher: Folks, this is the most important election of your lifetime. This is about restoring American, common sense, core principles back to each American. Giving you the opportunity to choose and decide what you want to be.

Kelly: And on that day, November the 6th, there can be nothing that holds you up from getting from where you are to where you need to be to cast that ballot.

Gov. Mitt Romney: I have a plan that takes advantage of the extraordinary opportunity that exists in America right now. That’s going to get this economy going again and create jobs, jobs, and more jobs.

We’ve seen the last four years. We don’t want four more years like the last four.

Kelly: We’re going to fight. We’re going to make sure we keep this America, this dream, this way of life alive for generations to come. It’s incumbent upon us. It’s not an option. This is one you don’t walk away from. This is not a storm that’s going to blow over. This is one you have to face head on.
