This weekend there was good and bad news for our warriors fighting against radical Islamism. Unfortunately four of our brave warriors gave the last full measure of devotion in Afghanistan. Our heartfelt condolences go out to those families who will have an empty chair at the dinner table. Our Special Operators conducted two tactical raid missions in Somalia and Libya. The operation in Libya resulted in capture of a Muslim terrorist with ties to the US Embassy attacks, al-Liby. However, he is being treated as a criminal and supposedly will be transferred to US to get lawyered up for a day in court. He should be heading to GITMO. Regardless of these successful raids, here’s another thing you can add to the list POTUS has shut down: a strategic policy in the Middle East to combat Islamic terrorism.

@AllenWest Keep electing these weaklings, America, and more Americans will be attacked, and unfortunately lose their lives.

by Allen West via Facebook

President Obama whispered under his breath in a hot mic moment to then Russian President Dmitry Medvedev to tell Vladimir Putin he would have more flexibility in a second term. We now clearly see what that flexibility means: increased aggression by enemies of our State who see a weak, indecisive President. The Islamic terrorist attack this weekend in Kenya reminds us of the last weak American President, Bill Clinton, who presided over an Islamic terrorist attack in Kenya against our embassy…and an emboldening of terrorists in Somalia. It was also Bill Clinton who turned his back on our brave Rangers and Delta Force Soldiers in Somalia by denying them armor and C-130 gunship support in Mogadishu. And America is entertaining Hillary Clinton as President after she took part in abandoning Americans to die in Benghazi? Santayana said, “those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” Keep electing these weaklings, America, and more Americans will be attacked, and unfortunately lose their lives. The only way to deal with Islamists is to kill them, as the Al Shabab attackers stated, “there will be no negotiations.” I concur!

Allen West “Who in the Pentagon or the White House has the moral courage and intestinal fortitude to now refer to this as an act of Islamic terrorism?”

by Allen West via Facebook

Finally, after almost four years, the trial of Army Major Nidal Hasan began but should I refer to this despicable Islamic jihadist as an Army Major? He has after all renounced his American citizenship and oath as an Army officer. He has clearly declared his allegiance to Islamism and is not reticent about the action he took back in late 2009 resulting in the death of 13 American Soldiers and Department of the Army civilians and the wounding of another 32. So will someone tell me, who in the Pentagon or the White House has the moral courage and intestinal fortitude to now refer to this as an act of Islamic terrorism…and dump this BS about workplace violence?

Allen West ponders NSA records data mining. Here are his thoughts

by Allen West via Facebook

As I ponder the NSA records data mining episode here are my thoughts. This is like carpet bombing vs. precision attack. Can someone explain why we weren’t listening to Anwar-al-Awlaki and his conversations with Major Nidal Hasan? Why weren’t we able to track Carlos Bledsoe’s travel to Somalia and Yemen to receive terrorist training? Why didn’t we pay attention to warning signs of Abdul Mutallab (underwear bomber) with a one-way ticket and little baggage traveling from Nigeria to America? Why weren’t we paying attention to the Tsarnaev brothers’ travels and connections to Chechen Islamic terrorism — heck Russia warned us? Why is it that in October 2011, 57 Islamic organizations — several with ties to Muslim Brotherhood — sent a letter to then counter-terrorism adviser John Brennan demanding we purge training materials and punish instructors they deemed “offensive” and we didn’t say “shove it” and target THEIR records? We’d rather carpet bomb Americans to cover our cowardice in confronting Islamic extremism. Benjamin Franklin said, “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Allen West “Has the US surrendered to radical Islam in the name of political correctness?”

In this era of the Obama Administration, we cannot offend the enemy. We must subjugate our principles and standards of decency to barbarians. We allow a combat Marine to be locked up in a Mexican jail. We have gone three years waiting for a treasonous Jihadist, Major Hasan, to be tried for murdering our soldiers…but he gets to keep his beard. Our government praises a Muslim Brotherhood President as he supports a declared Islamic terrorist group and seeks to establish a Sharia state. Has anyone considered the madness that has occurred since 6 November? We have gone from peace through strength to provocative weakness. This is beyond surreal, it is now dangerous. But should we be surprised? After all, this is consistent with UN Resolution 1618 which makes it a crime to criticize Islam, and it was our own President who said “The future does not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.” Get our troops out of Afghanistan now.

Rep. Allen West’s Statement on the 11th Anniversary of the 9/11 Attacks

(WASHINGTON)— Congressman Allen West (R-FL) released this statement today on the 11th anniversary of the September 11th attacks:

“On this day, we remember the unconscionable attack by the Islamic terrorist group Al Qaeda on the United States of America. This attack resulted in the loss of thousands of men and women, and American lives were changed forever.

Even though 11 years have passed, we all remember where we were when the planes crashed into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a field in western Pennsylvania. The attack resulted in the loss of mothers, fathers, children, teachers, business people, firefighters, police officers, members of our armed forces, and many more victims who were doing nothing more than going to work or boarding an airplane.

On that September morning, America was a vulnerable target. Our adversaries believed we were a “sleeping giant” that had drifted back to sleep. Instead, this atrocity awoke the “giant” and resulted in a reaction from our country against those who wished to tread upon us.

Today, thanks to the brave warriors of the American Armed Forces and our Allies, Osama Bin Laden is dead, Al Qaeda has been diminished in Afghanistan and much of the Middle East and America has yet to see another attack of this magnitude on American soil.

Still, even with all of these accomplisments, we cannot become complacent.  Since 9/11, several attacks have taken the lives of innocent Americans.  The attacks on Fort Hood, Texas, as well as an attack at a recruiting station in Little Rock, Arkansas, and last year’s attacks on Americans serving overseas in Germany, in addition to numerous attempts here and overseas are evidence a radical, hateful, determined enemy still exists and is just as dangerous as ever.

We must be evermore vigilant and resolute to crush this enemy and prevent its resurgence and fulfillment of its global aspirations. Because of this enemy, America must continue to fund its military and support its Armed Forces to the fullest extent.  The lives of all Americans depend on it.”

These are desperate and very dangerous times for America as it  totters on the edge of financial disaster, its foreign influence diminishing by the second, and demonstrations and riots in Wall St, New York and other major American cities holding it in the grip of moral and economic self breakdown. Our avowed enemies abroad the Taliban, Al Queda, and the Muslim Brotherhood are waxing ever stronger as their stranglehold in the Middle East and Africa grows, the Afghanistan war looks lost as we seek a humiliating exit strategy from this ” Black Hole ” of unending and relentless Muslim extremism and terrorism, and our greatest ally in the Middle East, Israel is surrounded by the Muslim Brotherhood and Hezbollah, and facing the Shoah danger of a nuclear empowered Iran under the unstable influence of radical Islamic President Ahmadinejad and his extreme Ayatollah Khameni. Daily we witness an autocratic and dictatorial American President Barack Hussein Obama lecturing the American people for his own destructive and divisive policies, and a Democrat led  Senate under the Machievellian Harry Reid flouting every known tenet of authority and democracy in the Upper House, including initiating the nuclear option to torpedo legitimate debate and defy the Constitution our Forefathers died for in times gone past.
