You may remember President Bill Clinton’s famous retort during the Monica Lewinsky episode regarding the definition of “is.” Now it seems President Obama faces the same issue of definition.
First Americans were told “if you like your healthcare plan you can keep it, period. If you like your doctor you can keep him, period.” We now know that “is” not the case.
President Obama and his minions assessed your plans as substandard according to he who knows what is, is, and we know he knows what is best. And of course we all did not understand what Obama meant what is, is, so he just misspoke and then told the insurance industry what is, is, and that they should just put everyone back on their plans — since Mr. Obama’s definition of is, is that he can simply command something to occur.
Apparently Secretary Sebelius has redefined functional to mean you do not get an error message but you are in the queue to be serviced — your information “is” being processed, albeit in a totally unsecure mode.
Imagine the shock of millions of Americans receiving notices this week that their healthcare plans would be terminated. The problem for the President now is that he suffers from an extreme credibility problem, as we’ve been treated to countless sound bites where he promised that wouldn’t happen. But, par for the course, he went on the campaign trail to use his pulpit to point the finger of blame elsewhere.
Obamacare intentionally forces individuals towards the government exchanges. The seemingly secretive conditions for grandfathering individual insurance policies were never made clear to the American people. The underlying message in all of this is that you, the individual American citizen, do not know what is best for you. You do not have the capacity to know what type of insurance coverage you should have so therefore the government will tell you, and mandate it so, and if you don’t comply, you’ll be taxed.

You can tell when President Obama is on defense. He runs out and gives a whiny speech before mindless lemmings who are coached when to clap. Mr. Obama is a classic narcissist who needs adoration, especially after the Washington Post gave him four Pinocchio’s over his pledge that “no one will take away your health plan.”
Obama has now demonized the private insurance plans which had worked fine for millions of Americans until he came along. Obama is the bad apple, not the plans.
President Obama will never take any responsibility because he believes his cult of personality will hide his deceit.
On today’s Next Generation TV, the team looks into why the White House gave Politico the silent treatment and Gov. Rick Scott’s backpedaling on his Medicaid stance and how that relates to one of the unintended consequences of Obama’s Affordable Care Act. Oh yeah, and Allen West reacts to Joe Scarborough’s obnoxious claim about what the GOP needs to do with regard to Col. West. You don’t want to miss this.
