Too much incompetence from Obama to believe it’s not intentional

Obama---a-wink-and-a-nod_s640x427

I’m back in DC for three days and therefore did my usual early morning run. As I ran past the Capitol and along the mall, I had an interesting thought. Since everyone has Oprah on the mind right now, remember when she referred to then-Senator Barack Obama as “brilliant”?

While running, I thought about the Obamacare disaster and if President Obama is so brilliant, how do you explain this abject failure? I began to ask myself, is this truly incompetence or possibly intentional — or both?

Obamacare is facing countless issues and the website is not really the most critical of the issues. The whole plan is based upon the flawed premise of forcing more young and healthy into exchanges to actually fund and subsidize, lower income and less healthy Americans.

More and more it appears that Obamacare has an intentional purpose of destabilizing and destroying the insurance market. There seems to be evidence of full knowledge of the adverse effects of millions of Americans being dropped from their individual healthcare plans, even as the President was stating Americans could keep their plans.

It seems there is a wholehearted push by liberal progressives for gun control. Let history teach us the results of gun control policies by a central government. It is simple: an armed person is a citizen, an unarmed one is a subject.

Last week Secretary of State Kerry was in Germany and commented, “in America you have a right to be stupid.” My response is, no Mr. Kerry, in America you have a right to bear arms, and it seems you are stupid.

Lastly, once disarmed, want to know what the radical leftist liberal progressive America looks like? Check out Detroit.

This will not happen on my watch, and I don’t need to be on Capitol Hill to defend the Republic.

Black conservative leaders discuss how the NRA was created to protect freed slaves – SHORT VERSION

RepWest

by Allen West via Facebook

GUN CONTROL = BLACK PEOPLE CONTROL.  I proudly stand with my fellow black conservatives who are attempting to promulgate the truth. Too often the voices of the black community seem to be Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and all those who seek to deceive with empty rhetoric and victimization. It has always been the Democrat party that has promoted policies detrimental to the black community: slavery, secession, segregation, and now socialism. Hat tip to Star Parker, Niger Innis, Harry Alford and all those who will not be a part of the 21st century economic plantation, nor be relegated to blind servitude to a liberal progressive agenda bent on the destruction not just of the black community, but America. And to the mindless lemmings who continue to parrot the progressive rhetoric on these pages…keep it up chuckleheads. I’m not letting up.”

Black conservative leaders discuss the reason the NRA was founded and how gun control is an effort to control people.

The Center for Urban Renewal and Education (CURE) hosted a group of prominent figures from the African American community at9:45 A.M. on Friday, February 22nd at the National Press Club to speak out against gun control legislation currently being considered on Capitol Hill.

CURE is the largest black conservative think tank in the nation and is headquartered in Washington, D.C.

CURE organized the news conference in response to concerns shared by black conservatives that the Senate proposed laws will restrict their ability to defend themselves, their property and their families. They are also concerned that the proposed gun control legislation puts too much power in the hands of politicians.

“I believe that it is our duty to stand together and challenge the proposals currently on the table in the Senate, which invoke painful memories of Jim Crow laws and black codes,” said CURE president and founder, Star Parker. “Black history is rife with government demands for background checks in order to qualify for constitutional rights. All Americans should be concerned.”

Star Parker, a nationally syndicated columnist and other noted thought leaders, authors and speakers will make the case against the type of gun control measures President Obama and his liberal allies are proposing. While the group believes that Sandy Hook was a national tragedy, they oppose its use as an opportunity to advance government control and strip any American citizens of their constitutional rights. In the middle of Black History Month, CURE is calling for a serious national dialogue about the impact of gun control on the black community.

“We want to inform United States senators that we will be notifying urban pastors, business leaders and other black voters of their legislators’ position on the Second Amendment—especially blue senators in red states currently up for re-election.” The news conference is to rally behind the tradition of former slave and great American orator Frederick Douglass who said, “A man’s rights rest in three boxes: the ballot box, the jury box, and the cartridge box.”

DAFR fights for the inalienable firearms rights of responsible disabled Americans. Disabled Americans have unique needs when exercising their 2nd Amendment rights. The mission of DAFR is intertwined within five basic areas of focus.

These areas consist of:

1. The introduction of firearms for self-defense to disabled Americans.
2. Shooting sports program and organized competition for disabled Americans and wounded veterans.
3. Oversee firearms legislation and research their impact on Americans with disabilities.
4. Offer assistance to responsible disabled Americans in order to exercise their 2nd Amendment right.
5. Educating the public and elected officials about how disabled American firearms owners have unique needs that must be met when exercising their 2nd Amendment right.

We have also become concerned with recent legislation that is proposed throughout the United States in reaction to the tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut. With that, our organization has taken a clear stand on various bills, public acts and proposed laws that we deem would be disadvantageous to responsible disabled firearms owners. DAFR intends to shed light on the fact that many Disabled Americans can only use certain types of firearms such as the highly adaptable AR15 rifle platform. A ban or other serious restrictions on the AR15 rifle as well as certain other firearms will have an adverse effect on the rights of thousands of disabled Americans.

THIS MORNING’S DISCUSSION COME JOIN IN – The Republican Coffee Corner with Angela

As most of you already know, my husband is Allen West. (I am the “introverted”, side of the duo. That being said, I started this page to address some of the questions and concerns I have noticed being voiced by conservatives who are in dismay constantly with some of the issues going on with this administration…….. I have read and heard the words “ The Constitution is being violated” and “My rights are being trampled”. The raison d’être for this particular question today lies within the context of the following issues:

. Gun Control
. Religious freedom as it relates to companies and their rights pertaining to contraception

Rules of this discussion: Please refrain from name calling, condemning, judgmental scripture quoting, or other types of vitriol. We get plenty of that in the main stream media and liberal “funny” people who try to stifle you with ridicule. As conservatives we must learn to answer these challenges thoughtfully. We will not solve all the problems of the day but this might be a start…..

There are really three parts to this question, the first was is the Constitution a living document? Not a new question at all. If you think about it, this has been tackled many times in the past. The other two parts of the question this morning pertain each to the first two articles of the Bill of Rights. I know that many of you feel very passionate about each of these so I felt that it is an important beginning. Please keep the discussion within the three current issues. We will expand during the upcoming weeks!

There are two schools of thought regarding the Constitution as a living document, first those who believe it to be a living document say that “The Constitution is a document that explains our nation’s guiding principles and the rights guaranteed to all U.S. citizens. Many countries have constitutions. But our Constitution is the oldest written national constitution in existence. Because it has passed the test of time, many countries have used it as a model for their constitutions. “ Simply put, the constitution just provides a “guiding principal” which can be adapted to the modern day problems. These people refer to themselves as “pragmatists”, they believe that the interpretation of the constitution according to “outdated” views is unacceptable as a matter of policy At least one of the Founding Fathers cited the need to interpret the Constitution in light of changing circumstances: Thomas Jefferson wrote “I am not an advocate for frequent changes in laws and constitutions, but laws and institutions must go hand in hand with the progress of the human mind.”

On the other side of the coin, lies the “originalists” — those who believe that the Constitution should only be changed only through the amendment process and that allowing judges to interpret the constitution “impedes democracy.” In other words, strict interpretation and changes only through amendments.

Let’ s now discuss the three issues current issues — the, there are many more, as we are really in the process of “fundamental change” in the United States as promised in the first term by the President, “ A Bill of Rights is an example of constitutional rights that outline the privileges and freedoms that every American within the jurisdiction of the United States of America is to enjoy and never to be denied of. An example of such constitutional rights include the right of suffrage, religious freedom, freedom of speech, and the right to bear arms. The United States as a federal government also has state constitutions, which can provide for additional rights or protection to individuals who reside within the state’s jurisdiction. However, it is possible for individuals to be deprived of their constitutional rights if they have committed an offense of a severe nature”.
