Allen West “There are no words to express the unimaginable sorrow our nation feels today”

There are no words to express the unimaginable sorrow our nation feels today for the families of those who lost their children and loved ones. It is only through faith and prayer that we can ever make sense of the senseless, and I pray these parents and families will eventually find comfort knowing their children will have the eternal love of God’s embrace. As a nation we grieve for the loss of so many lives, and the loss of so much innocence. May God bless those souls who have come home to Him, and comfort those who feel their loss.

My wife Angela and I send our thoughts and prayers to those who suffered unimaginable loss today in CT. It is only through faith and prayer that we can ever make sense of the senseless, and we pray these parents and families will eventually find comfort knowing their children will have the eternal love of God’s embrace. Tonight, as a family, we grieve along with all of America, for the loss of so many lives, and the loss of so much innocence. May God bless those souls who have come home to Him, and comfort those who feel their loss.

Tattered and Torn, Will You Rise Up?

5893412979_cf33ab529d

As I sit here thinking about all the terrible things going on in our country and worried about what is to come, I try to grasp for understanding and pray for piece of mind. Since November 6th many of you have sworn off the news, the postings, the fight for our republic and more. You are either sad, scared, beaten down, discouraged and maybe even more, or all of this combined. I understand the mental wear and tear it has taken on many of us and some days I have no words to describe how I feel but today is not that day.

Our country is still a good country, Our God although pushed back into the distance will still be the winner (here’s a little hint, I’ve read the Book, I know how it ends). Through six hours of what was eternal Hell, through brutality and unspeakable cruelty He has paid for the transgressions of this nation. We sit and we think, Oh, Lord, what have we allowed to happen? How can this be? Can it get any worse? What are we witnessing, how can we relate it to scripture and figure out if this truly is the end of times according to His word?

You see, we have this life, this one given opportunity to stand up for what is right. When the going get’s tough our human nature doesn’t want to get going, but our spiritual good side knows that if we don’t stand up and take action that every drop of blood that was shed at Calvary and the Wars that have been fought to give us our freedom’s and liberties are being tossed aside and taken in vain.Did the great foraging of this nation seem like it was an easy task? Reading through my history books I do not remember it being a delicate undertaking. Did they want to give up??? Well heck, they had every reason too, but they didn’t. So what we are witnessing today is discouraging, the takers are outnumbering the doers, Santa Claus reigns and God and the solid foundations of this country are taking back seat. How long do you truly think HE will allow this continue? Well, like a thief in the night, no man knows what time the Son will return.

So, do we give up or continue the fight?

Here is my heart, I will not, while there is breath in me quit this fight. I will not be silent. I will not only profess these actions but I will live by them and find the niche that I am best suited to fight for and focus on it. Spreading yourselves all around the issues trying to keep up with it all is where the frustration is building. The elections and the fraud have discouraged a massive amount of people. I could go on for days with the amount of communications that I have with friends who have heavy hearts but the bottom line is this. Find your niche, get into that groove, zoom in on something that is nearest and dearest to your heart….. now I know a lot of you will say EVERYTHING concerns me, well, it does me too but we must retreat, refocus, regroup and reach a common goal of getting this Republic back on its feet. By the time this President is done with our nation in 4 more years it is going to need every one of us on the ready to pick up the tattered and torn pieces and reconstruct what has been torn apart.

We CAN do this, we WILL do this and if you can find it in your heart to remember how it all started and how it all will end then you know that we must work together for the common good. Stand Up my patriot friends, do not be discouraged any longer. We can, one piece at a time put this back together but we must take the right path. There is no use saying you choose to lie down, when it feels impossible to stand up. In spite of our outward circumstances and the downward spiral of moral, economic, political, and social conditions we are witnessing today we must stand up and be heard.

God bless you my friends, stay in the fight.

My Thoughts – The Allen West Family

by Tanya Grimsley – Allen West Republic

The West Family has been through some of the most difficult and daunting trials that no American and a family, no matter their party affiliation or belief should have ever have had to endure. From all directions the attacks, vitriol and lies were shameful and vile. While Congressman West has thick skin and enough courage to buck the establishment, it still takes it’s toll. Dr. Angela West has been a prime target as well. There is no shame in the levels that people went to in trying to destroy a solid family unit. The loathsome nasty behavior towards this family over a Congressional race was and still remains in my mind as revolting and left my heart hurting, I could never put myself in their shoes and can only imagine the pain that has been inflicted.

As I sit here tonight I ask the nation of grassroots support to lift this family up in prayer. Some may say “I pray for him and his family daily, or Prayers said” but tonight I ask after you finish reading this to say ONE quick prayer. Please.

Lord Jesus, I ask tonight for your precious hands to wrap around the West family, give them strength, courage and peace. Let them know that all around this country there are people who love them and care about them and the messages that they have brought to this nation. May your mighty and unfailing love for your children give them stability, comfort and endurance for the roads ahead. Instill in them the blessings of Isaiah 40:31 and “renew their strength, so they may soar on the wings like eagles; and run and not grow weary, and walk and not be faint” Lord, creator of all things, lift up this family tonight so they may be strong in their walk with you and be a driving force in your army. Renew and rejuvenate them with your peace that passes all understanding. I ask this in your most precious name, Amen.

Rep Allen West “Individual Sovereignty and Freedom to Succeed is not granted by Government Agencies”

Congressman Allen West wrote the following messages on Facebook today

I would like to wish the constituents of Florida’s 22nd Congressional District as well as my fellow Americans a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving.

It is my deepest hope, that as the citizens of this great nation sit around their tables today, they will be thankful to be Americans, where individual sovereignty and freedom to succeed is not granted by government agencies or officials, cannot be taken away in the name of fairness, but is embedded in the Constitution, with liberty and justice for all.

May God bless you and your family, and may God bless the United States of America.

Grateful Reflection on Our Blessings – by Allen West on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at 9:18am

Today I, along with my wife Angela, and my daughters Aubrey and Austen, join Americans from sea to shining sea in gathering together for a special meal of Thanksgiving. Regardless of who we are or our origins, we will all take a moment to reflect on the bounty that is ours as citizens of these United States.

It is appropriate to take these moments of grateful reflection, even during moments of disappointment.  Serving my constituents in the House of Representatives has been one of the highest honors of my life, and I am deeply thankful to have had that opportunity.

As a result, this Thanksgiving will be a particularly bittersweet celebration for my family, as I expect it might be for many families across the country.

Nonetheless, we shall sit down together as a nation today and give thanks for all that we do have. No matter how lavish or how meager our celebration, as Americans we are all still imbued with the same unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving, and all of God’s blessings.

Allen West Statement “We Should Only Redouble Our Resolve”

For two weeks since Election Day, we have been working to ensure every vote is counted accurately and fairly. We have made progress towards that goal, thanks to the dedication of our supporters and their unrelenting efforts to protect the integrity of the democratic process. While many questions remain unanswered, today I am announcing that I will take no further action to contest the outcome of this election.

While there are certainly still inaccuracies in the results and the actions of the St. Lucie County and Palm Beach County Supervisors of Elections rightly raise questions in my mind and for many voters, after much analysis and yesterday’s recount in St. Lucie County, our legal team does not believe there are enough over-counted, undercounted or fraudulent votes to change the outcome of the election.

While a contest of the election results might have changed the vote totals, we do not have evidence that the outcome would change. Given the extremely high evidentiary hurdles involved in a successful challenge, I will not ask my generous supporters to help fund a drawn-out, expensive legal effort with little chance of success. Therefore, we will not contest the certification or challenge the seating of Congressman-Elect Murphy.

Serving the people in the House of Representatives has been among the highest honors of my life, but this seat does not belong to me, or for that matter, to any individual. It belongs to the people. I want to congratulate my opponent, Patrick Murphy, as the new Congressman from 18th Congressional District. I pray he will serve his constituents with honor and integrity, and put the interests of our nation before his own.

I must thank my wife Angela, and my daughters Aubrey and Austen for their support, patience, understanding and most of all, love. These are three of the toughest women I know. They have sent me off to defend our nation overseas at war and to Capitol Hill to serve our nation in the House of Representatives. They have all handled the challenges of these last few months, and the last many years, with amazing grace. I know they will be my side for whatever is our next chapter.

I must also thank my congressional and campaign staff for their service, and most importantly, I must thank you and our other tremendous supporters who provided their time and money to power our campaign. I am humbled by the dedication and perseverance of our supporters, and their commitment to a free and prosperous America. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done for our campaign, but most importantly, what they have done, and will continue to do for our country. None of us should let the outcome discourage us. We should only redouble our resolve.

Above all, I want to thank God for his blessings, and for blessing me with the opportunity to serve.

Only God knows what is in store for each of us. I have dedicated my life to serving this nation, and the results of this election will not change my purpose. Just as I did in the deserts of Iraq and Afghanistan, just as I did on Capitol Hill, I will continue to fight for our Republic.

Our nation will not overcome our challenges overnight ,and the road ahead for each one of us will not be easy. But this nation would never have become that shining beacon of light if our founders had chosen the easy path 236 years ago. We all must proudly continue their legacy.

God bless you and God bless these United States of America.

Steadfast and Loyal,

Allen B. West

Read the Rebuttal to the TC Palm and Carl Hiaasen’s Hit Piece on Allen West

REBUTTAL BY Darlene Fuggetta (Hobe Sound, FL)

The Original Letter by Carl Hiaasen can be found here: TC Palm

The Congressman faces a daunting task indeed, Mr. Hisaasen, but it is not because of the reasons that you state. The Congressman shows America on a daily basis that he is a man of honor and integrity. He does so by vocalizing what the majority of his supporters believe in; faith, family, God and Country. The Congressman served honorably in the United States Army for 22 years and made a command decision while overseas, giving up his career willingly in the hopes of saving troops lives. To demean this action is dishonorable, not what he did.

Mr. Hiaasen, this is a mere personal attack on the Congressman’s character. The reason he has raised so much money is simply because the majority around the nation believes in his message and his facts. Desperate liberals do this when they can’t argue with his record or the facts he presents. Allen West speaks truth and he backs it up. The fact that he is politically direct rather than politically correct is to his advantage. What Allen West says is clearly not what liberals want to hear….. the TRUTH.  They must make personal attacks such as this hit piece in order to inflict the seed of hate instead of providing factual arguments. A mere search in Google; opencongress.org and lest we forget the dsausa.org, which the democrat socialist of America are listed. In these sites they are proudly discussing who they are. Allen West did not “pretty” up the communist remark and use the new terminology “progressives” as they liked to be called. They do however provide you a nice list on who they endorse and, big surprise, Obama is once again on that list.

When the Congressman makes the statement, “I am pro-life because I believe all life is precious and worth protecting”, he means it. Planned Parenthood is the number one provider/supporter of abortions and thus neutering and killing those precious children;male or female. I too firmly believe that Allen West is correct, a child while in the womb is a person. To discard or neuter that life out of inconvenience is murder.

Liberals define slavery as a racial issue. Allen West defines it as an ideological and intellectual issue. Slavery is about more than chain’s, it’s about forced or coerced labor and being held to restrictive standards. That is what the government is doing to everyone, regardless of the color of their skin. They “force” people to rely on government programs and then the government can control their actions. It’s not freedom…. it’s government slavery, and the chains are the government programs.

Mr. Hiaasen, with all due respect, I believe that the “fringe gasbag, macho act, paranoia” comment best suits you and the libel and rhetoric you have spun for the benefit of your personal short comings. It would best suit all of us here in District 18 that instead of spinning the typical “liberal” talking points that you show us why Patrick Murphy is your candidate and why endorsing an inexperienced 29 year old over a man with a distinguished career is preferable. Allen West never had to enter the political arena and be subjected to the meanderings and vicious behavior of the democratic machine. I will remind you, running for Congress is a choice, Allen West made that choice and is a clear choice for me and my family because he is in lock step with my beliefs and concerns for America.

Thank You.

Allen West is leading the fight in Congress against Obama, Pelosi and the out-of-touch, radical left

Dear Friends,

As I write this, we’re just $22,025 away from doubling our $100,000 goal for the DNC week. Will you push us over the finish line?

What we saw this week was incredible: a party that pushed us to a $16 trillion debt and pledged to dig us deeper. They promised more of the same policies that have resulted in unemployment over 8 percent for 43 straight months. They proclaimed that we all belong to the government and their delegates booed the inclusion of God and Jerusalem in their platform. Last night we saw an opportunistic

Last night we saw the failed former Governor of Michigan and MSNBC host literally go berserk on stage.  Joe Biden continued to spew nonsense that required the suspension of disbelief. And President Obama? He desperately tried to ignore the last four years and returned to the same empty promises of four years ago.

These people and their failed policies are dangerous and Allen is leading the fight in Congress against President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and the out-of-touch, radical left. Stand with him today and help us reach our goal. Donate here: https://www.allenwestforcongress.com/contribute.

Rep Allen West – Op-Ed “The Balkanized States of America” Washington Times

Op-Ed by Rep. Allen West

The 56 rebels knew they very well might be hanged for what they were about to do. As lawyers, merchants, farmers and landowners, they had plenty to lose. Fighting against an imperial ruler, they had everything to gain.

They were embarking on an adventure – not only because they were revolting against their own government and fighting outmanned and outgunned against a superior military – but because they were creating a radical approach to self-governance.

The 56 men who signed our Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, knew the only way they ever would be successful in their audacious plan was if they stood together. As Benjamin Franklin said at the signing, “if we do not hang together, we shall surely hang separately.”

Our founders shared a unified vision for our nation. They understood that unity of the many was necessary to uphold the sovereignty of the individual and the fundamental, unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

To ensure the sovereignty of each individual American, our Founding Fathers knew the country would have to be unified on certain principles and values: a limited constitutional government, a free market, a respect for “the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God” and a strong national defense.

Sadly, we are in danger of squandering the precious gift those 56 rebels gave us 236 years ago.

We have become a nation of “special interests” – but what interest can be more special than preserving the greatness of the United States of America and the freedoms of all its citizens?

We have politicians who would rather divide us based on income, gender or race than unite us as Americans. They want citizens to believe that “all men were created equal” really means “all men are entitled to an equal share.” They want their fellow Americans to believe anyone else’s economic success always comes at their own expense.
