Allen West “I wish Obama, Reid, and Pelosi were sitting beside me this morning so their spirit would be convicted to give 100% to the American people”

Last week heard a fantastic sermon from Pastor Steve at First Baptist Church in Lafayette Louisiana. Got another great message today at Christ Fellowship in Palm Beach Gardens from visiting Pastor John Maxwell. Last election cycle we were inundated with the liberal progressive poll-tested message of 1% vs 99%. Pastor Maxwell spoke today about being a 100%-er: 100% for God in all things. We studied the relationship between Elijah and Elisha (1 Kings 19 and 2 Kings 2) and how Elisha’s faithfulness in small things led to his being blessed with a double portion of God’s spirit upon Elijah’s ascent. Again, I wish Obama, Reid, and Pelosi were sitting beside me this morning so their spirit would be convicted to give 100% to the American people, especially considering their desire to inflict pain, misery, and hardship upon my countrymen just for political gain. However, the closing admonition from Pastor Maxwell were Elisha’s words of encouragement, which spoke directly to me: Be Diligent. Be Ready. Be Willing. Be Bold. Be Courageous. Roger that Elisha, Game on!

Allen West “Today, as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the forgiveness of sin,”

Heisrisen

Dear Friends,

Today, as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the forgiveness of sin, I’d like to share with you one of my favorite scripture passages:

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him.John 3:16-17

It’s our moral duty to serve our fellow man, regardless of race, sex, affiliation, or creed. That’s why on this most sacred holiday, I urge you to do something to help someone in need. Whether it’s holding the door for someone, volunteering your time, or making a charitable donation, no deed is too small.

God bless you, your family, and America.

“Do You Believe In God? The Push towards Secular Humanism” Angela West Discusses

mf0sxvS

by The Republican Coffee Corner with Angela

This question —- the belief in God has never been a question in my mind. OF COURSE THERE IS A GOD! I could scream this from the rafters! Strange cliché, rafters…… don’t really know what “rafters” are but…. You get the picture: My faith is very important to ME.

We each have within us a need to believe that there is something better, something higher, something far more grand than our little world and the miniscule things that bother us from day to day. I meet people who tell me that they do not believe there is a God. God is just “make believe” only to have them drop to their knees when a loved one appears to be in trouble. It is a peaceful, calm and rewarding life to understand that, when the chips are down or up so to speak, someone or something greater is looking out for us.

What is religion?

Religion is an organized collection of belief systems, cultural systems, and world views that relate humanity to spirituality and, sometimes, to moral values. Is religion directly correlated with a belief in God? Not necessarily, the definition of religion as included in the Webster’s Dictionary is “cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith”. You have surely heard many people saying that “football” is their religion or “politics” would be their religion. In this context religion can mean a dedication to ANY cause or principle — even atheism.

The Rise of Secular Humanism

The doctrines of Secular Humanism postulate that human beings are capable of being ethical and moral without religion or a God. The original signers of the first Humanist Manifesto of 1933, declared themselves to be religious humanists. Because, in their view, traditional religions were failing to meet the needs of their day, the signers decided that it was necessary to establish a religion that was a dynamic force to meet the needs of the day. However, this “religion” did not profess a belief in any God.

Societies with a God based religion were more likely to survive than those without because of the community, compassion, lack of anarchy or murder, family structure, etc. enforced by religious beliefs. Agree or disagree?

Lack of moral values, young people getting wasted, and drugs, increasing violence, disrespect for elders, and sex at very young age, unwanted babies, abortion as a means of contraception, parents not knowing how to parent and not wanting to, depression, loneliness, and adults not wanting to behave like adults? Is the lack of God in religion fueling this? (I found this question on the internet and I could not have phrased it in a better)

My Thoughts – The Allen West Family

by Tanya Grimsley – Allen West Republic

The West Family has been through some of the most difficult and daunting trials that no American and a family, no matter their party affiliation or belief should have ever have had to endure. From all directions the attacks, vitriol and lies were shameful and vile. While Congressman West has thick skin and enough courage to buck the establishment, it still takes it’s toll. Dr. Angela West has been a prime target as well. There is no shame in the levels that people went to in trying to destroy a solid family unit. The loathsome nasty behavior towards this family over a Congressional race was and still remains in my mind as revolting and left my heart hurting, I could never put myself in their shoes and can only imagine the pain that has been inflicted.

As I sit here tonight I ask the nation of grassroots support to lift this family up in prayer. Some may say “I pray for him and his family daily, or Prayers said” but tonight I ask after you finish reading this to say ONE quick prayer. Please.

Lord Jesus, I ask tonight for your precious hands to wrap around the West family, give them strength, courage and peace. Let them know that all around this country there are people who love them and care about them and the messages that they have brought to this nation. May your mighty and unfailing love for your children give them stability, comfort and endurance for the roads ahead. Instill in them the blessings of Isaiah 40:31 and “renew their strength, so they may soar on the wings like eagles; and run and not grow weary, and walk and not be faint” Lord, creator of all things, lift up this family tonight so they may be strong in their walk with you and be a driving force in your army. Renew and rejuvenate them with your peace that passes all understanding. I ask this in your most precious name, Amen.

Rep Allen West smacksdown Obama, “America is awaiting the apology from President Hamid Karzai”

No more apologizing! We are Americans!

by Congressman Allen West on Monday, February 27, 2012

As I sit here in our Congressional office, I have just learned about another Taliban attack attributed to the Koran issue, this time wounding four Americans at FOB Fenty in Jalalabad. We have already had four Americans killed and another six wounded. The hypocrisy of this matter is quite concerning. All over the globe Christians are being persecuted and even killed by the followers of the Koran; Copts in Egypt, Pakistan, Sudan, Nigeria. The fact that no westerner is allowed to walk the streets of Mecca or Medina in Saudi Arabia and that Bibles are prohibited is a blatant show of disrespect. In Iran, a converted Christian Minister is under threat of death. It reminds me of the Abdul Rahman case in Afghanistan when I was assigned there. Mr Rahman was an Afghan who had converted from Islam to Christianity and had returned to Afghanistan as an aid worker. He was turned in by his own family and was to be executed under the crime of apostasy, yes, his crime was that he had converted from Islam to Christianity.

Let me remind you all, when tolerance becomes a one way street it leads to cultural suicide. Ironically, our own President mandates what Christians must do in clear violation of the First Amendment but yet apologizes for the disposal of detention facility contraband to President Karzai, following suit with bowing to the Saudi King, apologizing in Cairo, and relegating the US to subservience in a speech before the Turkish General Assembly. This Country must have American leadership which will stand for our Constitution, the Republic, and its Citizens…..and especially for the Men and Women in uniform who represent the best of who we are. No more apologizing! We are Americans!

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy New Year from the Allen West Family 2011

Dear Patriot,

Angela, my two daughters and I would like to thank you personally for your unwavering support of our family as I took on this endeavor to serve you in our Nation’s Capital this year.

It has been an amazing year, thanks to your dedication and commitment to allowing me to serve our country.

After 22-years in the Army, there were many holidays for which I simply could not make it home to be with my family, so I don’t ever take this time for granted.

My thoughts and prayers continue to be with my brothers and sisters in arms who must spend this holiday away from their families.

The West family is truly blessed to have you behind us and please know that I am forever humbled by this opportunity to serve you.

May God be with you during this joyous season and here’s to an even better 2012.

Steadfast and Loyal,

The West Family

Merry Christ-mas, Mr. President: An Open Letter to President Obama – Michael Youssef

Dear Mr. Obama,

From the time you declared your candidacy for president of the United States and announced under your breath that you are a Christian, many true, Bible-believing Christians immediately had doubts about your muffled profession of faith. After all, for 20 years you drank deeply from the well of Rev. Jeremiah Wright — who, in spite of the clerical garb he wears, preaches a Universalist gospel. It is not the true gospel that Jesus proclaimed, which clearly states that He and He alone is the only way to heaven and the Father. That claim was for all people of the earth.

The Bible is not ambiguous, Mr. President, as you and some of your Universalist friends believe. Jesus made it clear in John 14:6 that He alone is “the way, the truth, and the life.” Furthermore, the Bible testifies in Acts 4:12 that “there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved” except the name of Jesus.

That, Mr. Obama, is true Christianity.

Be that as it may, millions of Bible-believing Christians gave you the benefit of the doubt and decided to wait and see. After all, in the words of our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, “By their fruit you will recognize them” (Matt. 7:20). Many in the Evangelical community deliberately refused to judge you by your questionable associates and friends; they wanted to see for themselves.

And sadly, Mr. President, you deeply disappointed them.

Not only did you use endearing, even fawning, statements and declarations regarding Islam and Muslims, but you deliberately treated the National Day of Prayer underhandedly. While publicly recognizing every Muslim holy day in the past year, you failed to issue an Easter proclamation in 2011. You chose not to mention the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is, after all, the foundational bedrock of your Christian faith and the very reason why our nation celebrates Easter.

The limits of time and space do not afford me the luxury of enumerating your many anti-biblical and anti-Christian executive orders and policies. But I must speak to the bombshell of December 6, 2011.

You see. Mr. President, there are persecuted Christians in your home country of Indonesia, as well as in Nigeria. And thanks to your indecisive and failed policies, we have added Egypt to the list. These beleaguered Christians have always looked to the United States for encouragement and affirmation. But when they look to you, they find none.

Imagine, Mr. Obama, their dismay that you have not publicly threatened to tie foreign aid — which is the taxpayers’ money, not the government’s — to stopping the church burnings and the severe persecution and killings of Christians in Egypt. Yet on December 6, your administration did decide to publicly threaten to tie American taxpayer money in the form of foreign aid to the support of gay and lesbian rights.
