Yesterday, President Barack Obama showed once again his desperation regarding Obamacare. In a completely unnecessary speech, he attempted to shift the nation’s attention and re-stoke the fires of economic divisiveness which he defines as “inequality.”

Instead, all he managed to do was solidify his image as a Marxist/socialist whose only goal is wealth redistribution. It’s as if Obama sees himself as the school principal, angry with the kids who are excelling and making good grades.

He feels it’s his calling to punish those earning A grades, regardless of the long hours of studying, discipline, and hard work they’ve invested. Principal Obama wants to be popular with kids making D and F grades. Instead of promoting a new school policy of tutoring and mentoring, he just wants to redistribute the grades. In the end, he believes he’ll be able to create an entire school of average students all earning a C.

You may remember President Bill Clinton’s famous retort during the Monica Lewinsky episode regarding the definition of “is.” Now it seems President Obama faces the same issue of definition.

First Americans were told “if you like your healthcare plan you can keep it, period. If you like your doctor you can keep him, period.” We now know that “is” not the case.

President Obama and his minions assessed your plans as substandard according to he who knows what is, is, and we know he knows what is best. And of course we all did not understand what Obama meant what is, is, so he just misspoke and then told the insurance industry what is, is, and that they should just put everyone back on their plans — since Mr. Obama’s definition of is, is that he can simply command something to occur.

Apparently Secretary Sebelius has redefined functional to mean you do not get an error message but you are in the queue to be serviced — your information “is” being processed, albeit in a totally unsecure mode.

Every now and then someone says it so well, it just needs to be read as is. So it is with this piece written by M. Northrup Buechner, Associate Professor of Economics at St. John’s University in New York, as featured in Forbes Magazine.

Finally, what we have all been witnessing and addressing is drawing the attention of the financial elites who read the pages of this prestigious magazine. It is my hope that Dr. Buechner retains his position at St. John’s University because the lawless Barack Obama will unleash his hounds to destroy him.

Let this be a message to John Boehner and Mitch McConnell and all Republicans. Take heed, the future of our Constitutional Republic lies in your hands — and cowardice and failure are not an option.

When a policy is failing how do President Obama and his acolytes solve the issue? Fabricate positive press, of course. The Obama campaign machine is desperately kicking in overtime to combat the truth, or as they classify it, “bad press” on Obamacare.

First of all, Organizing for Action has received marching orders to “get into people’s faces” and talk about Obamacare over Thanksgiving dinner. That approach will give new meaning to the term food fight. (Oh, and by the way, during a conference call with supporters, Obama claimed 100 million people have signed up, which is only off by a factor of …um…a thousand or so)

Apparently event the AARP has been sending out “Evites” to have parents and grandparents guilt-trip the younger generations to sign up for Obamacare, as families gather for turkey day dinner.

Can’t you just see this image, “Bobby and Susie, Grandma made her special pumpkin pie for you. So now you just sign up at healthcare.gov and I’ll cut you a slice.” To which Susie responds, ” Sorry Gran, but I ain’t subsidizing you, the website is still down and I never liked your pie anyway.”

We who have served in uniform took an oath, “to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and to bear true faith and allegiance to the same.”

Those who truly believe in and live this oath realize there is no statute of limitations on this commitment to our beloved Republic. True military servants will stand guard for America as long as there is breath in their lungs. While in uniform we know we must follow the orders of our superiors, as long as they do not violate any moral standard.

However, once out of uniform, we have more freedom to express our thoughts, perspectives, and insights. Towards that end, two retired U.S. generals, Army General Paul E. Vallely and Air Force Brigadier General Charles Jones, have created a citizens’ commission called America’s Provisional Leadership Council to scrutinize Obama administration actions on national security and economic issues.

America elevated Barack Obama to the highest position in the country to eradicate any sense that this nation judged anyone based upon the color of their skin.

However, this great nation was so dedicated to pressing forward and forgetting past injustices, we allowed affirmative action to take hold at the highest level.

The fundamental thesis of Shelby Steele’s book White Guilt aptly applies to the case of Mr. Obama. The guilt that white America – primarily white liberals—wanted overcome and wash away created the first affirmative action presidency. It is not that standards were simply lowered; they were, and remain, non-existent for the first African-American president. And any questioning of President Obama is deemed as racist.

Nothing good happens late at night, and America just had a modern-day Neville Chamberlain moment. At 3 am in Geneva, Iran and 6 major powers agreed to “temporary relief” of sanctions in return for Iran stopping or scaling back parts of its nuclear program. President Obama has just empowered the number one state sponsor of terrorism, Iran, to pursue its nuclear goals and objectives.

This is not diplomacy, this is abject surrender and appeasement. Iran loses nothing, not a single facility, not any capability to enrich uranium, but we have conceded the one best non-military option: economic sanctions.

President Bill Clinton promised the same in regards to North Korea, and did that have any effect? Not to mention that North Korea has taken an 85-year-old Korean War veteran into detention, and of course we have done nothing.

Iran has held American Christian minister, Saeed Abedini, in prison for nearly a year, and President Obama said nothing about his fate, nor demanded his release. Israel and Saudi Arabia have lost all trust and confidence in America as a credible ally.

Many in America believed the election of the first African-American president would be the cleansing of past sins this country has sought for so long. They believed we would enter into a “post-racial” period in America where we would all truly realize that anyone can achieve whatever greatness they desired.

But as I look back on the events of the past week there is one word that comes to mind: racist.

This week demonstrated the elevation of Barack Hussein Obama to the highest office in the land (twice!) was still not enough. It seems the achievement itself, which could not have been attained without white Americans, still falls short of the true desire, which was blind allegiance and submission.

President Obama has shown he is not up to the standard of leadership for which Americans expect, but criticism of such is met with the retort of racism. Castigating people as racist just because they disagree with proven failed policies is simply despicable.

Col. Allen West, former GOP U.S. Congressman from Florida, said at a Thursday morning panel focused on the devastating economic impacts of amnesty that economic policies that displace black youths from jobs—like President Barack Obama’s immigration policies—have led to fads like the “knockout game.”

The panel, hosted by the nonpartisan pro-jobs group  Americans4Work and featuring West and other leaders on immigration policy, focused intensely on how the economy has not gotten better around the country for many groups of Americans, including the black community. They noted how the immigration policies proposed by the president and some in Congress would not help the situation.

West and fellow panelist Professor Jan Ting of Temple University were discussing what they called the “new normal” in America—how Americans are not succeeding independent of the government in record numbers.

“What we don’t want to see happening in the United States of America is this second and third generation of welfare,” West said. ”That becomes the new normal. When you look and see your mother and your father or your grandmother or your aunt or uncle, whoever is raising you, that they were born in Section Eight housing, their kids were in Section Eight housing. And therefore, you think there is no place else for me to go but Section Eight housing.”
