Allen West “Obama, Americans are seeing you as an incompetent, unethical, manipulative, lying tyrant”

Congressman-Allen-West

by Allen West on December 5, 2013

Yesterday, President Barack Obama showed once again his desperation regarding Obamacare. In a completely unnecessary speech, he attempted to shift the nation’s attention and re-stoke the fires of economic divisiveness which he defines as “inequality.”

Instead, all he managed to do was solidify his image as a Marxist/socialist whose only goal is wealth redistribution. It’s as if Obama sees himself as the school principal, angry with the kids who are excelling and making good grades.

He feels it’s his calling to punish those earning A grades, regardless of the long hours of studying, discipline, and hard work they’ve invested. Principal Obama wants to be popular with kids making D and F grades. Instead of promoting a new school policy of tutoring and mentoring, he just wants to redistribute the grades. In the end, he believes he’ll be able to create an entire school of average students all earning a C.

Allen West “The health insurance industry is being decimated due to Obama’s intentional incompetence”

AW Cavuot

Written by Allen West

When a policy is failing how do President Obama and his acolytes solve the issue? Fabricate positive press, of course. The Obama campaign machine is desperately kicking in overtime to combat the truth, or as they classify it, “bad press” on Obamacare.

First of all, Organizing for Action has received marching orders to “get into people’s faces” and talk about Obamacare over Thanksgiving dinner. That approach will give new meaning to the term food fight. (Oh, and by the way, during a conference call with supporters, Obama claimed 100 million people have signed up, which is only off by a factor of …um…a thousand or so)

Apparently event the AARP has been sending out “Evites” to have parents and grandparents guilt-trip the younger generations to sign up for Obamacare, as families gather for turkey day dinner.

Can’t you just see this image, “Bobby and Susie, Grandma made her special pumpkin pie for you. So now you just sign up at healthcare.gov and I’ll cut you a slice.” To which Susie responds, ” Sorry Gran, but I ain’t subsidizing you, the website is still down and I never liked your pie anyway.”

Too much incompetence from Obama to believe it’s not intentional

Obama---a-wink-and-a-nod_s640x427

I’m back in DC for three days and therefore did my usual early morning run. As I ran past the Capitol and along the mall, I had an interesting thought. Since everyone has Oprah on the mind right now, remember when she referred to then-Senator Barack Obama as “brilliant”?

While running, I thought about the Obamacare disaster and if President Obama is so brilliant, how do you explain this abject failure? I began to ask myself, is this truly incompetence or possibly intentional — or both?

Obamacare is facing countless issues and the website is not really the most critical of the issues. The whole plan is based upon the flawed premise of forcing more young and healthy into exchanges to actually fund and subsidize, lower income and less healthy Americans.

More and more it appears that Obamacare has an intentional purpose of destabilizing and destroying the insurance market. There seems to be evidence of full knowledge of the adverse effects of millions of Americans being dropped from their individual healthcare plans, even as the President was stating Americans could keep their plans.

It’s business as usual for those protecting Obama and his insane fiscal policies @Theblacksphere

Barack Obama

Remember the good old days, five years ago, before Obama established the “new” normal?

This was a time of white presidents you could criticize without being attacked as a racist. For me and my fellow black conservatives, it was a time when we wouldn’t be called an Uncle Tom because we didn’t support “the brotha.”

I long for the good old days, when gasoline prices passed $3 a gallon and I screamed at President George W. Bush from high Heaven. Gas prices settled below $2 a gallon before Bush left office, and the Left said it was because the Bush family killed Iraqi’s for oil.

Today, gas prices remain at least a dollar above “Bush gas,” and Leftists are spiking the football.

Palm Beach Gardens, FL, November 11, 2013 — After last week’s elections in New York, New Jersey, and Virginia, the political pundit class had very unsurprising conclusions for the GOP. First, Governor Chris Christie will get the GOP presidential nomination in 2016. Second, the GOP needs to follow Christie’s model and become more moderate.

Therein lies the fundamental difference between Republicans and Democrats. Republicans play checkers, an impulsive, reactionary game while Democrats play chess. They develop a long strategic plan to be implemented incrementally, eventually attaining their objectives by any means necessary.

Saul Alinsky, the Chicago native, admitted Marxist and author of the book, Rules for Radicals is a legendary figure in the playbook of leftist, progressive tactics. Alinsky identified a set of very specific rules that ordinary citizens could follow as a means of gaining public power through revolution.

However, Alinsky’s brand of revolution was not characterized by dramatic, sweeping, or overnight transformations of social institutions. Instead Alinsky advocated a gradual infiltration of existing institutions such as churches, unions and political parties. Alinsky advised organizers and their disciples to quietly, subtly gain influence within the decision-making ranks of these institutions, and to slowly introduce changes from those platforms.

To use a southern metaphor, this is just like boiling a frog. You don’t throw the frog into a pot of hot water. You have to put the frog into a pot of cold water and slowly turn up the temperature. It’s a long term strategy.

But the GOP defines strategy as telling everyone to be more like Governor Christie. (Click below to continue)

Allen West: Out of the Foxhole

by Allen B. West for Washington Times Communities

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., November 2, 2013 — There are some encouraging signs that black Americans are beginning to understand that liberal Democratic leaders and the policies they support are doing far more harm than good to their communities. And conservative black issues are becoming a part of many black — and white — political platforms.

There is a conservative black candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia — E.W. Jackson. Jackson is a former Marine, a Harvard educated attorney, and an ordained minister whose conservative values should be warmly embraced by those who will most benefit from them.

Just last week, NBA Star, future Hall of Famer, and Newark native Shaquille O’Neal officially endorsed New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. In July, the Black Ministers Association of New Jersey also blessed Christie with their endorsement.

So what are the key issues for black voters? Education for one.

Christie’s support of choice in education for all children, including black children, has made him a poll leader in the New Jersey governor’s race. That is especially interesting since President Barack Obama cancelled the D.C. school voucher program in February 2009, immediately after his inauguration.

Allen West “Normal? Deception from our President and allowing govt agencies to attack and intimidate American citizens?”

winner-loser1

Written by Allen West on October 29, 2013

This past weekend I was invited to speak on the campus of Valdosta State University in Georgia. The city of Valdosta is nicknamed, “Winnersville” because it has produced so many champions. They win, because they expect to win. That’s normal for Valdosta. But it’s no longer normal for America.

The new normal in America, a country now led by progressive socialism, isn’t about making winners or champions. It’s about creating dependents, and we’re all losing.

The new normal in America is a President who openly embraces the philosophy of wealth redistribution, as laid out by Karl Marx: “from each according to their ability, to each according to their need.”

So in pursuit of wealth redistribution policies, the new normal in America means our constitutional republicanism is being replaced by a Marxist/socialist ideal. This ideal is rooted in nationalizing production, broadening the dependency society, a sense of social utopianism

(fair share, fairness, economic and social equality), and most threatening, a secular humanism which replaces God, from whom our individual rights come, to government — trading the “Big G” for the “little g.”

We see this manifested in government spending at almost 25% of our gross domestic product (GDP). And mind you, this is a GDP limping along at around 2 percent growth, a dangerously weak economic recovery. To fuel the growth of this socialist welfare state, our national debt has grown from $10.6 trillion to now over $17 trillion in just five years. We’ve clearly lost control of spending.

Allen West ” How can the Members of Congress look these men and women in the eye?”

Allen West

by Allen West via Facebook

On my usual morning run I like to stop and chat with the brave men and women of the US Capitol Hill Police who safeguard the symbols of American liberty and our Members of the legislative branch. However, this morning our normally cheerful chat was disturbing. It seems these men and women who were standing their posts in the rain, as they always do, have been deemed non-essential and will not be getting paid, but they will continue to man their posts. How can the Members of Congress look these men and women in the eye? The Officer this morning asked me one simple thing, “Please Sir, speak up for us.” I can imagine the families of our fallen Warriors who have been denied death gratuity payments from this administration are asking the same. Who are we as a Nation? Where is our sense of character? I implore us all to speak up for the men and women of the US Capitol Hill Police, and all who serve. Call the office of your Members of Congress and ask “where is your sense of character?”

Last night the fella from Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward was the lead off guest for Fox News’ new evening lineup starting with Greta von Susteren.Ten years ago I was just a simple Artillery Battalion Commander leading American soldiers in Iraq. I am constantly amazed at how exceptional America truly is because of the sense of equality of opportunity that means regardless of where you are born or come from, high achievement is attainable. However, on the O’Reilly Factor last night Bill posed a question to Juan Williams about the morality of hurting one to elevate another. It reminded me of the Karl Marx quote, “From each according to his ability to each according to his needs.” The counter to America’s promise of equality of opportunity is the progressive socialist vision, led by Obama, of equality of outcomes. This is the dilemma in which America finds herself engaged. Shall we continue to be a Republic that promotes opportunity for its citizens or shall we devolve into a communal society mandated by those who will determine our path? I choose the former, what say you?

Allen West “This thing that we call the federal govt has grown leaps and bounds out of control.”

AW with Greta
BY FOX NEWS INSIDER //OCT 07 2013 // 7:25PM ET

Former Florida Congressman Allen West joined ‘On the Record‘ tonight to weigh in on the continuing budget battle in Washington.  He told Greta Van Susteren that lawmakers are “playing politics” with the American people by not trying to solve the problem with the government shutdown.

The fighting in Washington continued today, as Sen. Harry Reid’s spokesperson issued a statement blasting House Speaker John Boehner for having “a credibility problem” and refusing to “come to grips with reality.”

West argued that if Bill Clinton and Newt Gingrich could work together to create a budget surplus, reform welfare and Social Security, we should be able to do it today.

“We just found out that 800,000 federal employees were classified as non-essential,” West said.  “So what does that say?  It just says that this thing that we call the federal government has grown leaps and bounds out of control.”

He contended that everyone has responsibility in this fight. “I believe that the Republicans need to do a better job of articulating policy and what it means in the long term for the American people and for hard working American families out there,” West said.

“I think the Democrats have to get away from this ‘playing politics’ where they’re concerned about ‘we want to win back the House, we want to make sure we keep the Senate’ so that the president’s last two years can be like his first two years.  They’ve got to come together and understand what’s best for the American people, not what’s best for their political party.”
