Allen West “The future of our Constitutional Republic lies in your hands. Cowardice and failure are not an option”

Every now and then someone says it so well, it just needs to be read as is. So it is with this piece written by M. Northrup Buechner, Associate Professor of Economics at St. John’s University in New York, as featured in Forbes Magazine.

Finally, what we have all been witnessing and addressing is drawing the attention of the financial elites who read the pages of this prestigious magazine. It is my hope that Dr. Buechner retains his position at St. John’s University because the lawless Barack Obama will unleash his hounds to destroy him.

Let this be a message to John Boehner and Mitch McConnell and all Republicans. Take heed, the future of our Constitutional Republic lies in your hands — and cowardice and failure are not an option.

Allen West “Ironic isn’t it, that the 1st African-American president will not attend a historic moment” #Gettysburg150

Gettysburg

On this day we remember a simple yet profound speech delivered by a simple yet iconic American leader. Today is the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address given by our 16th President, Abraham Lincoln. Our current president is from the Land of Lincoln – Illinois — but for whatever reason will not be at Gettysburg to pay homage to this moment, a seminal moment in American history — how utterly despicable. I suppose the Organizing for America conference call the evening prior was just too taxing. Ironic isn’t it, that the first African-American president will not attend a historic moment remembering a “new birth of freedom.”

Therefore, since America is lacking a leader to address the nation on this momentous day, I decided to write and share with you all a modern Gettysburg Address:

“Seven score and ten years ago, this great nation stood divided on the fundamental concept of liberty and freedom. There were those who believed they possessed the liberty to withhold the freedom of others and that was defined as their right.

Another part of this great nation believed, as a slave owner had written, that we hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal and that they are endowed with certain unalienable rights from their Creator thus being life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

This nation went to war, a Civil War, to guarantee the promise of the latter, rather than live with the shame of the former. So here amongst the picturesque Pennsylvania hills surrounding Gettysburg two armies met: the Army of Northern Virginia and the Army of the Potomac. And as poetic justice would have it, they met from July 1st to 3rd in 1863 to determine the course of this great land.

The latter prevailed at the end of those three days by way of sheer determination, but both sides displayed uncommon valor and bravery. The defining moment to end the physical bondage of others had come, and freedom was the victor.

We remember the honored dead of Gettysburg – but let us remember all the honored dead who have made the stand against the enemies of freedom: Fascism, Nazism, Japanese imperialism and Communism.

However today, this great country, this longest running Republic the world has ever known is yet again embroiled in a seminal fight for liberty and freedom. The current ideological conflagration in America pits a belief of collective subjugation, by means of the metaphysical bondage of dependency, to the will of government as opposed to the liberty of individuals to determine their way in life – enabling their pursuit of happiness.

Even today the political names of the actors, Democrats and Republicans, remain the same, but only the circumstances have changed. We again are challenged to honor the promise of our founding documents, the Declaration of Independence, and the words of Jefferson, as well as our Constitution.

It is not only this internal struggle against progressive socialism but the external fight against Islamic totalitarianism — both threats to individual liberty and freedom.

Our men and women in uniform are deployed against the latter adversary, but we must all stand as guardians of this Republic against the former. What is at stake? The exact same thing that President Abraham Lincoln championed 150 years ago, “that the government of the people, by the people, and for the people shall not perish from the earth.”

May God bless the American legacy of courage displayed at Gettysburg, the Gettysburg address, and this beacon of liberty and freedom, the land of the free because it is the home of the brave. The place we call home, our beloved Constitutional Republic, these United States of America.”

The time has come to stop dancing around the word “impeachment.”

I just landed in one of the most politically corrupt cities in America: Chicago. It is the home of “Rules for Radicals” author Saul Alinsky as well as the most corrupt, lying, radical president this country will ever know, Barack Hussein Obama.

Clearly, the Rule of Law is not applicable in Obama’s world, it’s just a framework which he feels he can fundamentally transform at his will. But America does not live by imperial edict granted from on high by his highness. Heck, that’s why we had a revolution in the first place.

In Boston, Obama said these plans were junk and the insurance companies were bad apples. His own henchwoman, HHS Secretary Sebelius issued a decree making these plans non-compliant. But now the Emperor waves his hand and presto change-o, they are in compliance — in other words our Dear Leader is granting his permission.

Obamacare is the president’s Waterloo: Here’s what the GOP must do | Allen B. West – AllenBWest.comAllen B. West – AllenBWest.com.

Good morning from Salt Lake City, Utah where the weather is actually very comfortable!

Yesterday, I wrote of Obamacare resembling the failure of the Kasserine Pass. Well, due to recent developments over the past 24 hours, it has morphed into Waterloo for President Obama.

Just one year after reelection, Obama now finds himself with an approval rating of 39 percent, which I predict will keep plummeting. He also awoke to find that close to 54 percent of Americans do not trust him.

Monday, Nov. 11, 2013 – Allen West: Out of the Foxhole

by Allen B. West

Palm Beach Gardens, FL, November 11, 2013 — After last week’s elections in New York, New Jersey, and Virginia, the political pundit class had very unsurprising conclusions for the GOP. First, Governor Chris Christie will get the GOP presidential nomination in 2016. Second, the GOP needs to follow Christie’s model and become more moderate.

Therein lies the fundamental difference between Republicans and Democrats. Republicans play checkers, an impulsive, reactionary game while Democrats play chess. They develop a long strategic plan to be implemented incrementally, eventually attaining their objectives by any means necessary.

Saul Alinsky, the Chicago native, admitted Marxist and author of the book, Rules for Radicals is a legendary figure in the playbook of leftist, progressive tactics. Alinsky identified a set of very specific rules that ordinary citizens could follow as a means of gaining public power through revolution.

However, Alinsky’s brand of revolution was not characterized by dramatic, sweeping, or overnight transformations of social institutions. Instead Alinsky advocated a gradual infiltration of existing institutions such as churches, unions and political parties. Alinsky advised organizers and their disciples to quietly, subtly gain influence within the decision-making ranks of these institutions, and to slowly introduce changes from those platforms.

To use a southern metaphor, this is just like boiling a frog. You don’t throw the frog into a pot of hot water. You have to put the frog into a pot of cold water and slowly turn up the temperature. It’s a long term strategy.

But the GOP defines strategy as telling everyone to be more like Governor Christie. (Click below to continue)

Well, the results are in and so it’s time for a little assessment.

Let’s start with New York. Good luck, you just voted in a Marxist/socialist, and you thought David Dinkins was bad? I know there are some very eclectic folks in New York City but what were the free market capitalists thinking?

Next door in New Jersey, everyone pretty much saw this woodshed coming for Governor Christie.

Using the words “patient protection” and “affordable” to describe Obamacare is completely oxymoronic – with the emphasis on moronic.

First of all, Obamacare does not protect any patients. Americans are losing their coverage and their doctors who are fleeing from this government-driven healthcare program.

Secondly, according to a state-by-state study by the Manhattan Institute and reported in Forbes, Obamacare is not at all affordable, as it will increase underlying premiums by 41 percent.

Allen West: Out of the Foxhole

by Allen B. West for Washington Times Communities

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., November 2, 2013 — There are some encouraging signs that black Americans are beginning to understand that liberal Democratic leaders and the policies they support are doing far more harm than good to their communities. And conservative black issues are becoming a part of many black — and white — political platforms.

There is a conservative black candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia — E.W. Jackson. Jackson is a former Marine, a Harvard educated attorney, and an ordained minister whose conservative values should be warmly embraced by those who will most benefit from them.

Just last week, NBA Star, future Hall of Famer, and Newark native Shaquille O’Neal officially endorsed New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. In July, the Black Ministers Association of New Jersey also blessed Christie with their endorsement.

So what are the key issues for black voters? Education for one.

Christie’s support of choice in education for all children, including black children, has made him a poll leader in the New Jersey governor’s race. That is especially interesting since President Barack Obama cancelled the D.C. school voucher program in February 2009, immediately after his inauguration.

A Man of Principle for US Senate | Rep Tom Cotton | Allen West Guardian Fund

CottonWest

Do you want to take back the U.S. Senate?

The Guardian Fund has endorsed freshman Congressman Tom Cotton of Arkansas in his bid for U.S. Senate against Mark Pryor, an entrenched Democrat. Tom is a rising star in the Republican Party and without a doubt one of the brightest spots in American politics today.

The Left knows they’re in grave danger of losing control in the Senate if they can’t defend this seat, so they’re already gunning for Tom. More than a year before Election Day, the Democrat establishment is running ads smearing Tom’s record in Congress with lies and trying desperately to destroy his character. These attacks are false and we need to fight back on Tom’s behalf right now.

The Guardian Fund is building up an arsenal to defeat the left’s attacks against Tom and all of our endorsed candidates and our goal is to raise $250,000 online between now and the end of the year. Your donation today of $25, $50, $100, or more will play a key role in our success.

An Army combat veteran who led troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, Tom Cotton is a man of principle who knows what it means to lead. To say America needs Tom- and more like him — in the United States Senate to do battle with Harry Reid is an understatement.

That’s precisely why the liberal fundraising machine is already funneling money into Arkansas to destroy Tom on the airwaves. Trust me—they’re ready and willing to invest millions in this race. Tom is going to need the help of conservatives nationwide to come out on top.

So can I count on you to make sure the Guardian Fund has the resources to defend Tom Cotton and all of our endorsed candidates? Please follow this link to donate $25, $50, $100, or more today.

Thank you in advance for your support of the Guardian Fund and this great patriot, Tom Cotton.

Steadfast and loyal,
Allen West
