I waited to see if I was dreaming and not falling prey to silly April Fool’s prank. But, here it is 2 April and it was indeed a real and serious proclamation by the Obama administration: April is National Financial Capability Month. Ya really gotta be kidding me! Today the President announced he is funding the mapping of the human brain, but someone needs to map the brains of the people in the Obama administration (if they can find any).

This designation is asinine, especially as we all, well, at least 53% of us, are about to write checks to the federal government for them to waste on more stupid government programs. And no, we did not need a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, just another government agency. Ok America, I hereby declare April as National Pony Up Your Hard-earned Capital by Way of Onerous Taxation Month.

  1. I appreciate you standing up, and speaking the truth about this administration. We have got to do whatever it takes to stop this mess in the White House. Please don’t give up. America is counting on you, and the others that love this country, and still stand on the same moral, and ethical principles upon which it was found.

    First and foremost, thanks for being there!

    Initially, I was going to forward this as a simple “best of luck” and “keep up the fight” post. However, reading through your blog, I find myself wanting to run off with the hole up under my nose.

    In a nutshell, the current “socialist venture”
    occupying the White House is both arrogant and pathetic by virtue of its policy of theoretics. Not one single character, on (Obama) team, has approached
    ANY policy with intellectual, or Constitutional value for that matter, that would exhibit a rational and/or ideal attempt at policy “common sense and logic”.

    Economic stability will not be realized because it has yet to bottom out. Plain and simple. Sure, some components of our economy have been revived from a flat line, however, remaining weak. Our National Security/Defense is at its weakest point and according to history, ever. Not a bias assumption but a fact based upon truth. Our international respectability has deteriorated and is the brunt of jokes and giggles.

    I can turn this rant into a dissertation format but I wont.

    Col. West.. Please stay strong and realize your fellow Soldiers and veterans have your back and contrary to Kerry’s interpretation of a Soldiers reason for serving, some of us have the intellectual capacity to embarass their integrity.
