Allen West “This will not happen on my watch, and I don’t need to be on Capitol Hill to defend the Republic”

It seems there is a wholehearted push by liberal progressives for gun control. Let history teach us the results of gun control policies by a central government. It is simple: an armed person is a citizen, an unarmed one is a subject.

Last week Secretary of State Kerry was in Germany and commented, “in America you have a right to be stupid.” My response is, no Mr. Kerry, in America you have a right to bear arms, and it seems you are stupid.

Lastly, once disarmed, want to know what the radical leftist liberal progressive America looks like? Check out Detroit.

This will not happen on my watch, and I don’t need to be on Capitol Hill to defend the Republic.

  1. I’ll make this viral!!!
When you have time, Google the membership of the NRA. Now? People are joining the NRA at 250,000 a month.

  2. “The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.” —
The world’s largest army… America ‘s hunters! I had never thought about this…A blogger added up the deer license sales.
In just a handful of states and arrived at a striking conclusion:
There were over 600,000 hunters this season in the state of Wisconsin . Over the last several months, Wisconsin’s hunters became the eighth largest army in the world.
More men under arms than in Iran . More than France and Germany combined.

These men deployed to the woods of a single American state, Wisconsin, to hunt with firearms, and no one was killed.

That number pales in comparison to the 750,000 who hunted the woods of Pennsylvania and Michigan ‘s 700,000 hunters, all of whom have now returned home safely.

Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia and it literally establishes the fact that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world. And then add in the total number of hunters in the other 46 states. It’s millions more.

The point? America will forever be safe from foreign invasion with that kind of home-grown firepower.Hunting…. it’s not just a way to fill the freezer..It’s a matter of national security.
That’s why all enemies, foreign and domestic, want to see us disarmed. Food for thought, when next we consider gun control.

Overall it’s true, so if we disregard some assumptions that hunters don’t possess the same skills as soldiers, the question would still remain…
what army of 2 million would want to face 30, 40, 50 million armed citizens.
For the sake of our freedom, don’t ever allow gun control or confiscation of guns.

  3. Amen – Not in America. What part of “shall not be infringed” do they not understand? They are barking up the wrong tree. And no, we will not pay for “liability insurance.” Incidently, I am still trying to find out what they are holding the survivors of Benghazi on? I read they were in Walter Reed in a lockdown ward with the FBI. Exactly, where is it written that any power can hold American citizens hostage? I’ve read from Senator Kerry that the investigation is still ongoing, and that these people do not have “whistleblower” rights. But, how can they hold them and how long can they hold them? Do they think that this will all just go away in time – how much time is the government going to hold these people hostage? And, that, is exactly what it is. We know how investigation goes – it is significantly delayed and then somebody will be a fall guy and then Obama will write an Executive Order that will “protect” the fall guy in “Nation’s best interests.” Chicago politics say that they (Benghazi survivors) will have to disappear or made impotent. That is not the way we do business in this Country! What gaul for the Obama administration to hold “witnesses” hostage because you won’t like what they will say and it might just implicate you directly with what did or did not happen. We have a very unhappy military right now – active duty and veterans. This is something I would not recommend as a “sound” decision. What is it going to take to get those guys out of lock down – some Navy Seals? This is why Americans need guns. When government exceeds its role in a citizen’s life, like this, then, the people need to be diligent and arm themselves as you never know when they may come for you.
