Allen West for Congress Campaign Manager Released The Following Statement – FAR FROM OVER

RACE FOR FLORIDA’S 18TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT FAR FROM DECIDED

Stuart, FL – West for Congress campaign manager Tim Edson released the following statement regarding the election results for Congressional District 18:

“This race is far from decided and there is no rush to declare an outcome.  Ensuring a fair and accurate counting of all ballots is of the utmost importance.  This race is far from decided and there is no rush to declare an outcome.  Ensuring a fair and accurate counting of all ballots is of the utmost importance.  There are still tens of thousands of absentee ballots to be counted in Palm Beach County and potential provisional ballots across the district.

Late last night Congressman West maintained a district-wide lead of nearly 2000 votes until the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections “recounted” thousands of early ballots.  Following that “recount” Congressman West trailed by 2,400 votes.   In addition, there were numerous other disturbing irregularities reported at polls across St. Lucie County including the doors to polling places being locked when the polls closed, in direct violation of Florida law, thereby preventing the public from witnessing the procedures used to tabulate results.  The St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections office clearly ignored proper rules and procedures, and the scene at the Supervisor’s office last night could only be described as complete chaos.   Given the hostility and demonstrated incompetence of the St. Lucie County Supervisor of Elections,  we believe it is critical that a full hand recount of the ballots take place in St. Lucie County.   We will continue to fight to ensure every vote is counted properly and fairly,  and accordingly will pursue all legal means necessary.”

  1. Allen West! You are our HERO!!! We love you! We’re behind you! We support you! We are praying for you! We will fight for you! God’s speed!

    • Robert, have you been keeping up on the news both on TV and the articles in the blogs?
Unless the Military comes in..we won’t have another election AT ALL.
      Don’t you get that?!!!

  2. Robert, Obama WILL NEVER BE IMPEACHED.
There were 3 different impeachment processes. They simply disappeared.
A sitting president who commits Treason IS NOT IMPEACHED.
He goes before a firing squad.

  3. There were two races last night that were first and foremost in my sights: The Presidential race, and Congressman West. I was devasted to hear the results of both. This news now, that Congressman West may not be defeated is fantastic. Sir, please do not give up. Don’t let them do this. We need you now more than ever. God bless you, your family, and all of your endeavors. Keep up the fire.

  4. Atta-boy Colonel West! Keep up the fight for honesty, your rights, and Florida’s future. We need you badly. Thank you for setting the example for our children–and adults. May God Bless you richly.

  6. You have to have someone fingerprint those ballots as well, to see if they were submitted by the same person[s]. God be with you Col. West.

  7. I’m with you, LTC. West.

When this is over, can we chat about the Balanced Budget Amendment? I’d like to show you why it is the worst idea since sin.

  8. The IBM voting machines could have been messed with. A retired IBM man said
he was fearful they could have messed with them. Be sure you count the votes.
I believe the obama bunch is like a gang they have no class and people that lie
as much as they do will cheat.

  9. I was upset when i Heard Obama won, This morning when I read the preliminary results of your race It brought tears to my eyes, Don’t let them steel this from you. Someday you will run the whitehouse and we will have a just country again

  10. While we may feel devastated at this moment in time, we must remember the words
of another STATESMAN, Winston Churchill. “Never, Never, Never Give Up!”
We must coninue marching for honor and integrity and truth.

  11. Mia Love from Utah needs to do the same thing – I cannot believe she lost by a handful of votes. There is something were weird about how this whole election went down and if we value our freedom, we need to look into it and prevent massive voter fraud from ever happening again. We are not a “free” people if we cannot trust the government to count our votes correctly.

  12. Basically, according to the national polls, there were 3 million less GOP voting than they did in 2008 for John McCain. After 3+ years of conservative activism and grass-roots efforts against a president with a worse domestic policy record than Jimmy Carter and it turns out like this? Pretty much every “enemy” of the Dem party including Congressman West, Mia Love and others were magically defeated despite the media-admitted excitement in the GOP. I cannot comprehend how this happened from a logical point of view. There is something wrong and if we ignore this, it will keep going on forever. Keep up the fight, Mr. West. We’re with you.

  13. Plus, if Florida doesn’t put you back in your Congressional seat, you’re welcome to come to Arizona and run for John McCain’s senate seat any time🙂
