Congressman Allen West Statement Condemning the Attacks on the Sovereign Soil of our Nation

(WASHINGTON) –Congressman Allen West (R-FL) released the following statement this morning upon learning of the attack on the United States Ambassador to Libya and three other Americans:

“Less than 24 hours after our nation remembered the heinous attacks of September 11, 2001, Americans find their sovereign soil attacked again as more American lives are lost at the hands of intolerant, barbaric, radical Muslims.

United States Ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens, and several embassy staff were murdered late yesterday when suspected religious extremists stormed the United States Consulate in Benghazi.  This morning, my condolences and prayers go out to the families of the victims.

Americans need to question whether the deaths of these innocent patriots could have been avoided. The Obama Administration touted the Arab Spring as an awakening of freedom, which we now see is a nightmare of Islamism.

Even more concerning, is the initial response to these attacks last night from the embassy officials of the Obama Administration was to apologize for a Facebook video that supposedly hurt Muslim feelings.  President Obama’s policy of appeasement towards the Islamic world has manifested itself into a specter of unconscionable hatred.

How anyone can believe this President is strong on national security and foreign policy is beyond my comprehension.  President Obama has clearly surpassed former President Jimmy Carter and his actions during the Iranian Embassy crisis as the weakest and most ineffective person to ever occupy the White House.”

  1. You are so correct, Allen West. You are a true patriot and very wise indeed! You have confronted the enemy on the battle field and you correct identify the enemy! Thank you for your service and also keeping our ‘ President’s’ feet to the fire!

  2. I especially want you to see this. Please take the time. It is short; and it will disgust you!
This ONE man stood up to everyone; yet, look at their faces.

  6. Congressman West, thank you for continuing to shine the light. I woke up this morning searching for your insight on this horrific attack, and found this site. And then, as I found it, there you were on Fox in the background!

So glad you are out there, I look forward to your rise in Washington to even greater heights than Congress. Someday, we will prevail in this war. And it will be men such as yourself that make this possible.

  7. Well said. . . Allen West is a true patriot and man of character. . . I’d follow him into hell and trust him to find a way to put out the fire with an ice cube. . .

We need 535 Allen Wests in congress, and the original one in the White House

  8. I am a Vietnam Era Vet and a Kingdom minded Christian. The initial response of President Obama outraged me. I can hardly speak about without becoming angry or disturbed. Even God speaks about avenging his own, protecting his own and standing up for the Kingdom of God against the Kingdoms of this world. If God was willing and able to deploy a host of angels to stop the execution of Jesus Christ. How much more speedily should the US government step up to defend its citizens who are in its embassy from anyone daring to enter in without proper authorization and identification.

I reckon since we have no real boundaries protecitng us from illegals crossing our borders into the US, then we should not have borders or boundaries around our emabassies.

I believe that our embassies are considered soverieng territories within the nations where they are situated. Therefore an attack on any American Embassy is an attack on the US. If this is not true. May God have mercy on any US diplomat who stands up for the USA on foreign soil.

I am not a Democrat nor a Republican. I am US citizen by natural birth and a citizen of God’s Kingdom by spiritual birth. I know my God will stand with me and for me as an ambassaor of the Kingdom of God. He will not let His enemy run over me nor would He make an excuse for not defending, protecting or shielding from His enemies or anyone who dares to tread on me.
