Tea Party-linked GOP Rep. Allen West (R-FL) is taking the possibility that theRepublican establishment wants him out of office — as suggested by a number of conservative bloggers — in stride.
In an interview Thursday, West discussed CBS News Correspondent Sharyl Attkisson the newly-drawn political map in Florida that made his own district more competitive — a map drawn by the GOP-controlled Florida legislature. West announced earlier this week that he will seek re-election in a new district to increase his odds of victory.
“No one’s gonna lay a trap for me,” he said.

Congressman West, I have been hearing about the redistricting. Are you speaking of the establishment in FL legislature? I can’t vote for you but I certainly support you.
I have a question for you. Specifically, why did you vote for NDAA? Lots of us were really shocked by your vote. I will share your answer with those I know are questioning it. We all hold you in high regard. We need your help. Thank you
It’s a crying shame that we can’t have the founders here among us now. If it were possible, the shooting would have already begun. This nation wasn’t formed by cowards and cowards will not preserve it ! If you want something you’ve never had you’ll have to do something you’ve never done. At some point I believe we are going to have to go into battle in the cause of this nation. I can see and hear the enemy massing on the horizon. Time is short. Victory or death !
Mr. West, although you are not in my area, I would vote for you in heart beat! You have the desire to do the job right and you are a great American! Keep up the great work!
I’ve been singing the praises of Allen West for almost 4 years now. There are posts on my FB every single day about Allen West, sometimes 3 to 6 posts a day. I had to wise up a lot of my Dem family & friends to what’s really going in their party & our country. I was born in Chicago so I was born & raised Dem & was a Dem for 47 years until 9-11-01 (I’ve been living in NYC 30 years now) when words like Taliban, Al Qaeda, Bin Laden was rolling off politicians tongues like water, words I never heard before but yet they knew them. That’s when I realized just how stupid our government was keeping us. I didn’t vote for George Bush but I was never prouder as a proud America as when he stood on that rubble at 9-11 & announced to the world: If you’re not with us, then you are against us.
Then the day I learned a man named Barak Hussain Obama was running for President & then won, my blood ran cold for my country. The name alone should have been a red flag. Did people not realize that 9-11 was not just an attack on NYC but on America? Since I’m part Native American, I can honesty say, my family has been in every American war since the beginning of America’s birth. I always believed that the President should be a military man first. On the day of 9-11, I left the Democratic Party & became an Independent and began studying the Government, American & World History & The Constitution & The Bill of Rights harder than ever before. I declared myself a Conservative Independent.
Then I became obsessed with studying the world leaders & Obama & every politician in the US. I always liked Sarah Palin, a woman of substance & then I came across Allen West, a man of true grit. I now announce myself as a “Conservative Independent Constitutionalist Patriot of The Tea Party” which now makes me an American Terrorist according to Obama & I’m proud of that label too because I never did refer to Obama as my president, he is NOT my president, he and his regime is an enemy to me & my country & I have dedicated the last 4 years of my life exposing everything about them. I have 4 baby grand-daughters & missed so much being with them because of rallies, protests & demonstrations between NYC & DC as my too many pic albums on FB can prove. The famous words at every family occasion I miss, my little girls are told, Grandma is out saving the country for you. My 4 little grand-daughters, now 4-6 years old call themselves Tea Party Patriots too. There are only 2 politicians in my very strong opinion worthy of the White House & that is Sarah Palin & Allen West. I have dreams of them going into the WH & telling Obama, “Get your God damn clown feet off that desk (Oval Officer) you’re under arrest for treason.” or going on Air Force 1 & telling BO & MO, “Get off of our plane.” I can dream the American Dream, can’t I?
It has been become so clear that I love Allen West so much so that when I post anything about him, the only comment I make now to the post is: I LOVE ALLEN WEST followed by a (heart) ❤ If God's grace is truly on America, then I will see Allen West & Sarah Palin in the WH one day soon in the future…can I get an Amen?
I begged you to run for President dozens of times, I joined a group to draft you. We need you. You are so superior to all the other candidates. Obama is an anti American Muslim Marxist, he has to be voted out of office…we need Allen West on the ticket.
